I love this seminar. Here in Trinidad we do deepdrop fishing near oil rigs in 500-600 feet of water. Our tackle is so way more heavier than you described 80-100lb braid, 25-30feet of 150-200lb mono keaders. Hookups and those snappers and groupers run to the pylons become entangled and break off. Hence the extreme tackle once you hook up, you move that boat away from the rig and you reel that fish as quickly a possible off the bottom and then slow it down once they are off 100-150feet from bottom. Question- Where can I get that Enforcer jig? I‘d love to get one. Thank you.

I would ban electric reels from sport fishing, there is lots of great reels todays with which is not so hard to wind on from almost any depth.
