Do NOT use a hot glue gun on fresh flowers. If you want to glue then you will want to utilize a floral adhesive such as the one offered by Oasis.

Pretty good tutorial, but it's best to use a specially made floral adhesive to adhere the flowers. Hot glue will damage the flowers.

Never use hot glue with real flowers, it damages the flower you should always use floral adhesive!
