Yankees season ends on a terrible note as Gerrit Cole couldn't last 3 innings against the Red Sox tonight giving up 3 runs putting the Yanks down early with HRs off the bats of Xander Bogaerts and Kyle Schwarber. Yankee offense was mostly absent apart from Giancarlo Stanton who went 3-4 with a HR, Anthony Rizzo had a HR as well. The Bullpen couldn't hold the Sox at 3 runs as they Alex Verdugo walks away with 3 RBIs as he pushes the Red Sox to the ALDS.

I had that same conversation with my cousin he said the same thing the throw had to be perfect but I agree wit Joe judge was on first and was out by so much it was a bad send. Plus ur down that send when your tied or up. It would of been 1st and 3rd with 1 out. That was the difference of the game.
If all you can get is one opportunity in Fenway then your team is not good and you don't deserve to win. It was the correct send.
