I would love for the Entertainer Ai. But I hope they add quotes for if you are doing terrible at the game or dying a lot. Or some wisecracks every so often when you respawn.

Butler is an standard experienced professional Freat is like an excited rookie that is not prepared for all that violence Circ loves violence and it's very expressive about it Lumu loves that too but tries to keep it professional
Circ is a bimbo who is generically programmed to like what you like. You like football? So does she! OMG! YOU'RE SO AMAZING. [cheerleader] If you like bloodthirsty, that's Lumu. She has a robotic voice but she's actually cruel and sadistic. She lives to troll and assert dominance.
I use Fret, I like to think that my Spartan is a very serious veteran Spartan who's AI was chosen for him and he has to begrudgingly deal with this crazy positive up beat, goofy companion, but slowly grows to love him
I love all these AI’s so much. I hope there’s settings to make them talk less for those that find them annoying, but personally this is one of the new features I’m most excited for. I can’t wait to see what other fun characters they introduce to tell me how cool I am

@Emularis I dunno about that. Even for the people who don’t want their AI being super vocal, the weapon spawn call outs are incredibly useful. NOT using an ai at all would put you at a disadvantage. I think being able to customize exactly what your AI calls out and doesn’t would be better
Lumu: "Perfect Specimen." (; She only says that when you do insanely good with over 20 kills and 0 deaths at the end of the game. Sometimes she doesn't say it. I sadly only had her say it once. Wish I was streaming or had my clip capture button working on my computer. Hopefully someone out their like Mint Blitz already has a clip/recording of it, well if they were even using Lumu that is. :/

I'm definitely going to be turning off AI voice volume.. It's so distracting, annoying and makes everything feel really childish. I think that if they made one have 343 Guilty Sparks voice then I might use that though.
As a user of Circ (my fav ai bc of how crazy she can sound) i can safely say you forgot my personal fav line of hers, when you grab Cindershot, she says "3rd dedree burns for everybody" which for somereason is funny for me

(Kill some one with a skewer) "that reminds me of a joke about pencils but its pointless" The monster: you kill something (snarls). You get a 5+ kill streak (happy snarls). You die (anger snarls and the sound of something being broken. The existential one: "why do you kill your fellow Spartan?". (Gets a kill streak)"Their entire lives led up to that moment" (Actives camo) "letting life pass us by"

Fret and Cric are my favorites. Ones a rookie who’s trying to adjust and the other is eerily enthusiastic about killing and enjoying the front row seat

Actually I’m not a big fan of this AI thing. I wish they were more like actual AI giving advice instead of commentating. The power weapon call outs are good and low ammo call outs as well but everything else is garbage. I don’t need to know I picked up an assault rifle because I grabbed it. I liked how Cotana would say “keep your head down there’s two of us in here remember?” When you start being careless. Or maybe have them call out where you are getting shot from. Something simple like left, right etc.
Doesn't make sense. What kind of advise that you want anyway? Use more cover? Change into a better weapon? I can figure out that by playing the game itself. Call out where you getting shot at? That's why damage indicators exist smh. I'd rather have an AI commenting on your actions ala Titanfall or Portal rather than generic robotic partner number 1000.

When picking up overshields they can make it seem like the AI is over locking your shields like they do in the books. They could tell you you are one shot from death. It could tell you the enemy got the power weapon. It could say enemy has a sniper grab cover. It could still compliment you and say nice work but the “pLeAsE dOnT gEt SkEwErEd!” Is the cringiest thing ever. It could also call out enemies nearby, multiple enemies near by or say you’re surrounded. Or even say that the enemy banshee is wiping out our team. Anything like that is better than “kIlL tHe eNeMiEs aNd iF tHeY DoNt DiE kIlL tHeM hArDeR!”

In an FPS game? And what if you get hit in a unusual angle? You expect the AI to say 'Northwest' or 'Southeast'? It only slows down player reaction. As for other callout, it's a pretty good idea. But I disagree that the dialogue is cringy. It gives personality. What's the point of having different AIs if they're just gonna say the same, monotone things? How many more generic versions of 'you're surrounded' do you want? Majority loves it. Majority wants more. The Halo community and 343 Industries respect your opinion, but we're not changing our gears.
I notice they also list the manufacturers. Like thats a small detail to add. Does that mean we could get more ais from different manufacturers like covenant or forerunner?
Even though it'll probably never happen, I want crossovers from other game series. Imagine hearing Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect when you get a Sniper spree... also if it happens and the Didact is the Harbinger, they might as well bring in the voice actor to give some Reaper Harbinger lines.

They should add some of the classic AIs from the games like: Cortana, Serina, Auntie Dot, Isabel, Roland, and my personal favorite Black Box as decently challenging unlocks. Maybe bring back the unlocks that are tied to the most difficult achievements like in Halo 3.

I use Fret, I like to think that my Spartan is a very serious veteran Spartan who's AI was chosen for him and he has to begrudgingly deal with this crazy positive up beat, goofy companion, but slowly grows to love him

I love all these AI’s so much. I hope there’s settings to make them talk less for those that find them annoying, but personally this is one of the new features I’m most excited for. I can’t wait to see what other fun characters they introduce to tell me how cool I am

@Emularis I dunno about that. Even for the people who don’t want their AI being super vocal, the weapon spawn call outs are incredibly useful. NOT using an ai at all would put you at a disadvantage. I think being able to customize exactly what your AI calls out and doesn’t would be better
They have so much personality to them. I really think it'll add a whole new level to customization in Halo.

She only says that when you do insanely good with over 20 kills and 0 deaths at the end of the game. Sometimes she doesn't say it. I sadly only had her say it once. Wish I was streaming or had my clip capture button working on my computer. Hopefully someone out their like Mint Blitz already has a clip/recording of it, well if they were even using Lumu that is. :/

Fret and Cric are my favorites. Ones a rookie who’s trying to adjust and the other is eerily enthusiastic about killing and enjoying the front row seat
Butler sounds like a Halo character (no big surprise), Fret sounds like Sonic the Hedghog, Circ sounds like Ms. Minutes from the Loki TV show, and Lumu is straight up GLaDoS

Actually I’m not a big fan of this AI thing. I wish they were more like actual AI giving advice instead of commentating. The power weapon call outs are good and low ammo call outs as well but everything else is garbage. I don’t need to know I picked up an assault rifle because I grabbed it. I liked how Cotana would say “keep your head down there’s two of us in here remember?” When you start being careless. Or maybe have them call out where you are getting shot from. Something simple like left, right etc.
I hope they add a toggle for this in the settings so they don't narrate everything you do.

Doesn't make sense. What kind of advise that you want anyway? Use more cover? Change into a better weapon? I can figure out that by playing the game itself. Call out where you getting shot at? That's why damage indicators exist smh. I'd rather have an AI commenting on your actions ala Titanfall or Portal rather than generic robotic partner number 1000.

Also get rid of hit indicators and trade them for AI call outs. When picking up overshields they can make it seem like the AI is over locking your shields like they do in the books. They could tell you you are one shot from death. It could tell you the enemy got the power weapon. It could say enemy has a sniper grab cover. It could still compliment you and say nice work but the “pLeAsE dOnT gEt SkEwErEd!” Is the cringiest thing ever. It could also call out enemies nearby, multiple enemies near by or say you’re surrounded. Or even say that the enemy banshee is wiping out our team. Anything like that is better than “kIlL tHe eNeMiEs aNd iF tHeY DoNt DiE kIlL tHeM hArDeR!”

Hit indicator is a must. You really telling me you want a AI call out for every single time you take damage? In an FPS game? And what if you get hit in a unusual angle? You expect the AI to say 'Northwest' or 'Southeast'? It only slows down player reaction.
As for other callout, it's a pretty good idea. But I disagree that the dialogue is cringy. It gives personality. What's the point of having different AIs if they're just gonna say the same, monotone things? How many more generic versions of 'you're surrounded' do you want?
Majority loves it. Majority wants more. The Halo community and 343 Industries respect your opinion, but we're not changing our gears.

Even though it'll probably never happen, I want crossovers from other game series. Imagine hearing Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect when you get a Sniper spree... also if it happens and the Didact is the Harbinger, they might as well bring in the voice actor to give some Reaper Harbinger lines.

They should add some of the classic AIs from the games like: Cortana, Serina, Auntie Dot, Isabel, Roland, and my personal favorite Black Box as decently challenging unlocks. Maybe bring back the unlocks that are tied to the most difficult achievements like in Halo 3.
