I drove clunkers for years. As a single parent I chose to pay more to live in an area with good schools and in order to do that I sacrificed having nice cars and nice clothes so my kids had better.
Last year I bought a house for my parents cause when I was young we sold our house cause of my study. Finally I did it.

I love my father so much too and he’s the hardest working/most knowledgeable mechanic I’ve ever met. One of my dreams has always been to be in a position where I could treat my loved ones. My dad has been driving a 2005 Honda Element, which now has about 350,000 miles on it for almost a decade. The speedometer doesn’t work, it’s been breaking down on the highway, and just isn’t reliable anymore with the amount of driving my dad does. For my dad’s birthday I surprised him with a brand new Cadillac, which has always been his favorite car brand. Because of all the traveling going on this month, I surprised him this past Sunday. Just thinking about his reaction gives me goosebumps and almost brings tears to my eyes. I love you dad. Happy Birthday.

I always wanted to give something to my dad when I start realizing his hard work for me...apart from studying I was a tuitor too and I could gain 250 rupees every month. I collected that and buy for him one sweater and you know, he was so happy and wore it everyday till his last day of his breathe... I miss him...alot
