Vlad was born in Sighisoara (which was Hungary at that time), his father was from Wallachia . He was voivode (ruler ) of Wallachia 3 times in his life.
He has looked like that for as long as I can remember ever seeing him. So at least 3 decades. He and Craig are great together. The only bad guests are the ones who can't laugh at themselves. I wouldn't want to talk to them either. You have to be able to laugh at yourself. It's healthy for the ego.

I miss this show. The main reason it failed was they took too long to bring on the guests
It didn’t fail. It ran for 10 years and Craig decided to move on.
