I never realized Hamilton has such wit and charm. Tom and George play off one another like peaches and cream. Great entertainment and appreciate you making this interview available to us.
I used to work in Beverly Hills. Just about everytime I went to lunch, I'd see some star, bit actor or character actor. I was walking to this one place on "little " Santa Monica Blvd, and there was George Hamilton putting coins into the parking meter. He was by himself so I walked up to him, introduced myself and told him how much I loved the Evel Knievel movie. He said he had fun doing it, then shook my hand and thanked me for saying hello. And that was it. He was a nice guy
I saw him a few months ago at a movies collectibles show at the Hilton Hotel by Burbank airport where he was a guest at a table signing autographs. He is in his 80’s and looks and sounds great. He is a very friendly man and my favorite celebrity at the show.
I love George Hamilton! Here’s a bit of information I came up with. In the 70s Marvel Comics was at the height of its popularity and I thought how cool would it be if Stan Lee decided to transition his Iron Man comics to film? George Hamilton in 1974 would have fit the role perfectly for Tony Stark/Iron Man. Now in 2008 when Iron Man was released by this time I think George Hamilton was too old to play Tony Stark hence Robert Downey Jr. got the role. But I still think of what would have been, George Hamilton would have been a great Tony Stark!
Warren Beatty and George Hamilton were often confused together. The two of them looked and behaved very similair and were both known as womanizers. The two of them have had long relationships with their wives (even though Hamilton is divorced he and his ex wife are still often seen together and even hosted a tv show together). The two of them got confused so often that Beatty gave Hamilton a small role in the movie Bullworth as an in joke. The only difference is that Beatty was a big film star and Hamilton has always been a tv star.
Another great interview very rarely seen on television these days.

I thought that the Evel Knievel movie was very good as well.
GEORGE H is sooo REAL..Great sense of humor, doesn't take himself seriously...ABSOLUTELY Wonderful inside & out.
Mr Hamilton now in his 80’s and continues to look and sound great.
He comes across as stuck up , but it's all comedy .

@@Jay-vr9ir But not in person when I met him a few months ago at a movie collectibles show at the Hilton Hotel by Burbank airport.
He is one of the last actors around who started under the studio system. He got a weekly salary from the studio as a contract player.
I miss hosts like Tom Snyder

I met Mr Hamilton in a diner with several people not only handsome elegant but so much class blessings
Fascinating
George is my crush during my teenage yrs. My. He remains a cool guy. Still verý dashing
IT WAS SO GREAT THAT THE OLD SCHOOL ACTORS UNDERSTOOD
they were lucky in many ways so why be ridiculously serious
Hamilton is a survivor of old Hollywood. Maybe never being an A-lister was his luck.
Yea. Maybe.

Wow, who is better with women?
Watch his older movies to see some fine dramatic performances; not bad in comedies, too
He destroyed some producer or director backstage
I don’t ever think he has been sexy
