I have to say that I admire anyone who has the discipline to journal. Last year I tried it, falling in love with the idea of it, & the traveller’s notebook. Unfortunately, it only took 3 weeks to fall (rather quickly, & decisively) out of love of it. I still have both sized covers, bought a way too many inserts, & other Travelers items. Live & learn, I guess. I still admire you guys keeping up this hobby…lifestyle…whatever you call it.
Hi Frank. Thanks for sharing. It's always fun to see how folks are using their TN's and if they've made any changes. The past couple years I've been using the standard monthly undated for my planning needs with a passport lightweight paper to list all my tasks. I laid out the monthly myself this past year which was tedious so for '25 I'm going to go with the Sterling Ink. I like listing and tracking my goals for the year and keeping up per quarter plus reviewing my month which there is space for. I think it will suit me well. The crossed off tasks and daily to do's have no place in anything I archive, hence using just the passport for to do's. I have a separate TN white MD paper for memory keeping and then the 013 lightweight paper for journaling.
Thanks for sharing your setup, love it! 😍 I also published a video showing mine recently, even picked a fun theme etc .. such exciting times! ☃️ Wishing you & your sweet family a fantastic New Year, filled with joy, creativity & cozy moments together! 🥳💃💝
I can see more minimalist theme this year. I always watch out for your set-up videos, despite using a different format. Also interesting to see how each system works for individuals, your method is the closest to mine 😅
4:33 the way I overcame this issue was I put the first stickers from the top: Jan - Jun and then from the bottom up Dec - July and it left a nice gap right in the middle of the insert, exactly where the elastic lays
Thanks for sharing your set-up. I like how you’re incorporating habit tracking into the Weeks pages (I’ve been doing habit tracking in my Hobonichi Techo, but now considering this approach…inspiring). One question: Are you using your TN primarily for your RUclips and side business and personal tasks? Or, also using for day job work/tasks? I may have missed that in your other overviews?
I don't know why but I'm really procrastinating on setting up my 2025 diaries this year. I just ain't got the interest for some reason.... I'll "come around" sooner or later and get them done. Vertical diary and monthl diary for me again 👍🏻😄

Let me know if you want to sell your supplies and how much for the lot?

Great video Frank! Happy New Year :)
Thanks for sharing. I’m still figuring out my plan for 2025.

Nice set-up. Thanks!
Very nice setup, we have almost identical setups. Very practical indeed
What pen holder are you using there?
I still haven’t set up my 2025 planners yet! Must get on that soon.
Same here! 😅
Monthly view for schedules, planning and lightweight blank for my jounalling, doddles and others for me
What do you use the monthly view in the weekly memo for given you have the monthly insert?
Hello. Don't you use your brass Kaweco anymore?

I’m using the passport size.
