Thank you for showing how your TNs develop character with time! 😍❤️ Surprisingly, my brown regular size cover still looks almost new after a full year of daily use. I take good care of it & condition with beeswax balm regularly… Looking forward to seeing how it patinas over the years though! 😊

I think you need to calibrate your lighting. Its overexposed

I've had an expedition for decades with that nylon type band. I never noticed the wear on the end but examining it now, for sure it's worn of course. Leather I think would be a nicer alternative and would wear like our TN's. Plus you can condition the leather. One thing I'll add when I wore my watch daily for weeks, months, years is that the nylon absorbed everything-sweat, dirt, whatever. I had to occasionally give it a soak and use an old toothbrush to get it clean. Mildly annoying.

I have done the same thing with my holiday cards. They are beautiful blank cards, not glossy, but the type of card stock that would feather any ink. So I have used TR and Endless Regalia paper to make them fp-friendly.

Love the idea of using icons to represent the routine parts of our lives. Thanks for the addition to my planner.

I randomly got mine from the traveler's company us website. I didn't realize they were in that high demand until I went back to get a passport size and they were all sold out.

What are your travelers notebook alternative picks? I'm not sure it's right for me

Glad you were able to pick these up! I got the passport size a while back and really love it as my EDC. I opted out of standard because I already had the Superior Labor zipper pouch, and while it's beautiful, it's just not as functional as these. Just picked up a standard size, and for anyone based in the US that's interested, these are actually stocked on the Traveler's Company USA website 🙂

Thanks for showing the pouches. With you mentioning the cheap ones, I got one from Esty, cost £9. It’s quite stiff, feels more like canvas than material. The zipper teeth are metal therefore a bit bulkier than your plastic teeth on the Travellers Company zippers. There’s no leather tab on the flap, it’s just the material. The set up is the same…zipper pouch, section covered with the flap, card slots and one larger slot. Had I had the choice financially I would probably have bought the genuine pouch. But I’ll see how long this one lasts 😀

I got the watch this week! it was around 140euro on their site with 15% promotion! i was looking for something not very cheap but also in budget! I can say i`m very happy until now with it,considering i moved from apple watches to normal watches! I love the color case! It`s my first "expensive" watch and surely the next one will be Seiko 5 field! Just ordered some bands,hope they`ll fit with the gun metal and green color! Its sad that we don`t see more reviews on this watch

Just found your channel. Love how straight forward the planning is. I've had a traveler's notebook for a couple of years now and have used it sporadically, but I'm wanting to really get into using it properly. As beautiful as the super aesthetic spreads are, I just know I'd never actually get to doing that. Love how your planner is neat, still nice to look at, USABLE, and manages to quickly incorporate some washi tape fun!

I saw the original hack vid too and it was life changing for me! I can never go back to a single string tn or using jump bands. I have four inserts plus a plastic zipper pouch and no overhang!

I am another 4 am-er!! My husband thinks I am crazy but I love the darkness, quiet time and peace I get from taking that time for myself each day.

Having something beautifully designed on your wrist that tells you the time and nothing else (no social media notifications, no texts, no missed calls) is super liberating and refreshing. Next you'll start wanting more and more beautiful watches on your wrist for every occassion 😅 But this is a home-run for a daily reliable and accurate watch.

I’ve been wearing an Omega Seamaster since 1997. It was a good chunk of money back then but other than wearing out the original steel bracelet and switching over to the Omega cloth strap, the watch has been fantastic.

I have to say up front that I bought a few of the sticker release books myself, and the majority of my washi tape and similar thin paper stickers do not stick. The sticker just rolls up and won't adhere for some reason - likely the style of the sticker paper that keeps it from being stiff enough, I suppose. Hopefully just a fair warning to anyone else who was interested in the books.

Maybe convert the ink notebook to a 3-ring binder setup so you can move pages around as needed?

My dad got me one of these for my birthday on march of this year. I was slightly disappointed at how quickly it started to look stained, but I realized it's not like it´ll keep looking more and more like that, kinda stays at a certain point of patina which I've come to really like. It's the pen I carry everywhere, I love this thing honestly, feels unique and honestly it's never felt like a small pen, even uncapped it's comfortable at least for me. Definitely a pen with personality

I am a night owl so going to bed at 9 or 10 is pretty much impossible for me, even if I have a 5 am call. I work in film so my schedule is completely random. Sometimes we start after noon if we need night shots. Sometimes 4 am if we need to do a time-consuming monster makeup or prep an army of extras.

I thought that my need for 2 hours to get out the door in the morning was a lot! I walk the dog first thing, then read over breakfast. It is a lot easier to make time for yourself when you live alone! I need to make time for exercise though.

I found an outdoor living, hiking and exploringbpodcast. I never listen to the regular eps, but they do have a really good Halloween one where people tell about scary stuff they've seen in their travels.

I picked up the TN copy by Peter Pauper Press and I am impressed! It was about $25 and had 3 notebooks (dotted, lined, and blank) and a plastic zip pouch and pocket. I have a friend who is a leatherworker, so I could get a cover off him if I decide to replace the "vegan leather" one, but I don't mind it. I am a big fan of PPP paper. Very fp friendly. Something to consider for those of us who like the TN aesthetic but can't afford the, honestly, overpriced covers. Plus the PPP one has the elastic closure attach in the spine, so there is no bump to deal with when you write in it.
