Childhood Vaccinations: Prevention is Better than Cure

Vaccination is one of the major health breakthroughs of the 20th century which has brought dramatic improvements in child health. Primary prevention of disease or as is it commonly known 'Prevention is better than cure' is what vaccination is all about. Despite the strong case for vaccination, anti-vaccination lobbies have led to vaccination hesitancy and subsequent poor uptake of vaccinations leading to increased susceptibility for disease.
