I’m no missionary or Mother Theresa. My man Chris was in Korogocho, he sends me a video with kids tuning their violins before rehearsal and says: ‘you gotta get over here’. So I had to show them the music that stopped me from quitting music when I was their age. Even if you can only play one boring note, if you collaborate and do it in the right moment, you can be dropping jaws. Then you’ll crave for all the other ones.
