I said Icehouse was my favorite and she looked at me strangely, she said it was old and dated stuff. I never understood that. In my book this is timeless.

I have loved Icehouse since the early 80s and Crazy might be my fave! What I love most about Iva's voice is the way he can manipulate octaves. He seamlessly moves between higher and then lower/deeper tones and octaves - the range is amazing. He has such a moody and emotional voice - gosh I love that guy! I so love this Aussie version of the video Crazy. It is so funny and silly, rather than the straightforward International version. Love Electric Blue, No Promises, and so many other of their songs. I can't say I dislike any of their songs, which is crazy (haha) in itself.

I am a youtuber and editing is so much easier nowadays, but back in those days it was so hard, I understand why, because no iMovie or editing apps, no iPhone no iPad, no DVD, editing was very labour intensive, 5 hours of me editing now is like 30 hours back then
Doesn't make it a great video though. It certainly doesn't do a great song justice with the cheesy explosions either. The International video is better even if that mix is inferior to this one. 🤷♂️
Actually, the entire movie ROPE by Alfred Hitchcock did this concept 20 years before this video was even realized. 11 years as a video store manager gave me only the type of knowledge that no one besides us find fascinating. Now my entire 42 years alive n kicking is where I learned how to know great music and talent...these guys are truly that. electric blue is my go to.
