According to Stockyard her dear friend and co star partner on screen Jeff was dropped during filming the dance choreography and despite completing the film over the years the injury continued to affect his health. I don't know anything about a car crash though it may be true .

Some may get them others still working on them. The term tragic for clicks is the concern. Someone passing in their 40-50s and younger that could have added more to their lives and others you could consider as very unfortunate if not tragic. This is many years before life expectancy. I have a family member who passed at 66. Very sad but, she had chances to do all she wanted to impacted her community and enriched her family we celebrated her passing. A good friend of mine had his daughter pass 3 months before HS graduation. Now that is tragic and her folks never really ever had peace from that day. 🙏 this gives you some perspective?
