Right from the start, Steve Harvey is the best Family Feud host, bar none. For 13 years, he elevated the show, breathed new life into it and now it's just fun to watch and play.

Especially full episodes from the first 3 seasons of Steve’s tenure, among them are the TNA Wrestling Week, the episode with Chris Paul and his clan, the episode where a Fast Money answer was whipped cream on a salad and any episode with the Sinnott clan, and the episode with the Fast Money segment where the clock drained out entirely from the first answer about the body part that’s unexpectedly bigger, that last one was hilarious.

No, they sure can’t. Lol. I thought family feud was an entertaining show before him. It was only really funny when Richard Dawson hosted. But when Steve Harvey started hosting the show, it became the funniest show on Earth lol now I can’t watch the show unless Richard Dawson, or him is hosting. (I know Dawson is dead but I can still see old clips)

This was an interesting time for Family Feud: ratings had sunk so low in John O’Hurley’s last season that it was in danger of getting cancelled. I don’t know what the producers were thinking bringing back the Bullseye round - when the Bullseye round led to the daytime show getting cancelled in 1993, Ray Combs getting fired in 1994, and ultimately the whole thing getting cancelled in 1995. The show had gotten too serious at this point - Steve Harvey helped bring back the “fun”.

I truly thought that my love for game shows died when Bob Barker retired from The Price Is Right on June 15th 2007. But 3 years and 25 days later on July 10th 2010 (8 days before my 14th birthday), Steve Harvey reignited my love for game shows when he started hosting Family Feud (and he’s kept that spark going). Like Bob before him, Steve has increased FF’s ratings, he’s won 7 Emmys so far (Bob has 19), and he knows how to have fun with both the contestants and the audience. I hope Steve hosts Family Feud for as long as Bob hosted The Price Is Right (which was 35 years, Steve has 22 to go). Long live Steve Harvey, Bob Barker’s game show successor
There's a big difference between how he did this show and how he now hosts. Big difference. He's more relaxed now. I'm still glad he hosts F.F.. He's far better than any previous hosts.

Family Feud certainly had its ups and downs to get here. Surpassing Richard Dawson was almost impossible but Ray Combs, Louie Anderson(may he and Ray rest in peace), Richard Karn, and John O’Hurley gave it their best tries and we’re able to bring something new to their runs. Getting Steve to host was luck, but he did the impossible of being better than Richard(in my opinion), and thanks to him we gotten to enjoy the Feud for so long!
