Main reason I watched was to see the footage using the Jobi. And it's honestly really not that bad. I find it acceptable. I have a Crane as well but I just wanted to see how it looked without it. Just sold my Canon 70D after years of use, now I'm saving for this camera. Can't wait to get this...it's an amazing camera. Thanks for sharing!
Yes! Finally the video I’ve been looking for, been torn between a6400 or stretching my budget by quite a bit for a a6600 basically for the ibis and extra battery life, but thanks for the footage, glad the a6400 will be more than enough for what I need
Great review, just what i was looking for; I want to buy the a6400 for video work but i was really concerned about IBIS and your video clarify some of this issues for me, thank you !
Yeah! The gimbal footage is really promising. You should get the Zhiyun Crane M2. Definite minimalist gear that packs a punch, together with the Sony a6400. You made up my mind with this. Thanks a lot! FYI: "The Crane M2 can also handle the a7III" It has been tested by Brandon Li
I was using the Sony A6400 with my Feiyutech AK2000 and it was a HEAVY LOAD to carry around and vlog with... I walked 10 feet and was almost out of breath lol.
@@AndyHornbyPhotos not sure what you're talking about. the a7iii has Sony ibis. In this video you're directly comparing the a6400 with the a7iii side by side. That's no ibis vs Sony ibis. The point I'm making is that the Sony a7iii doesn't have good ibis to begin with. That's why you see no difference. If you put the a6400 against an Olympus or Panasonic it would be devastating. Ibis is massively important for vlogging. You just need to use a camera with real ibis. And that's only available on m4/3rds. Checkout g85 or em5 mkiii footage and you'll see what I mean.
I've not tested or used the IBIS in either of the panasonic of olympus - so I can attest to how well they perform. I've had no issues with the A7iii. IBIS is fine for what I need it for.
I don't think Sony really intended the ibis to be a huge factor in video. I think they intended it to be used mostly for stills photography. Just my theory
Sonys ibis is just bad. They need to go back to the lab maybe add some new software when they create the new camera's if they don't intend to make the bodies bigger to allow for space for the sensor to move.

Thanks for watching. I'm glad it helped you. Have a great day
I really enjoyed your video which very much a revelation. In short, no IBIS on 6400 does not matter for video. Thanks mate.
Thanks for watching

Awesome. Glad this video helped. Thanks for watching.
Andy Hornby thanks man! Just subbed, gonna check out some of your other content

Absolute pleasure. Glad it helped.
The gimble fotage does look really nice.
It does. I'm going to use it as much as I can - I just don't think it's something I can take on all vlogs.
Agreed that IBIS in Sony and especially the APS-C mount does little for walking while video shooting. For still it has value, but not video.
Absolutely. This is something that will always affect vloggers...

I hear that. Thanks for watching
Get the Zhiyun Crane M2 and sell your Feiyutech ÀK2000
That's because you're testing Sony IBIS. Take a look at Olympus or Panasonic for real IBIS. The sony sensor is too big to be properly stabilized.
This video doesn't test Sony IBIS - the 6400 doesn't have any! But great you have IBIS on the panasonic and olympus. Thanks for watching

It would be nice of joby created a goriila Gimbal. A gimbal that is super small and made for super light weight setups
Thanks

Yes. Unless you are using a gimbal to vlog. The shakiness would be unbearable
Thanks
Kit Lens???
Whach the video. This shot is from my phone.
