i really do have a soft spot for gonta, he's one of my favourite and i love how he's so sweet and a true gentleman and actually pretty smart, but the way I love kokichi. i could never stand up for anyone but him.
i, as someone who had played the game, actually loves this chapter and trial. not only did we have shuichi, keebo and kokichi working together, we also got a glimpse (or more like a full view) of how naive some of them are. trust, friendship, lies and truth. trust and friendship isn't supposed to exist during trials. lies and truths cannot be perceived as easy as outside because a wrong decision would just end up with everyone dying. personal opinion during i played this - - i actually got annoyed with kaito. - the only chapter where i got angry with ALL of the characters lmaoao. (tho, gonta's dead is quite... sad(?) i still love this)

That’s why kokichi made gonta kill Miu. And the reason why kokichi is so mad at gonta in this trial is because he feels guilt but he has to do it. ( 24:01 ) Before Kaedes trial kokichi was warning Kaede about Tsumugi but in a secret way. But Kaede didn’t understand or listen. All of this led to kokichis super plan in trial 5 he wants to confuse the mastermind so the killing game would end.
The worst thing about Kokichi is that even after this trial I can’t bring myself to hate him. Like bruh he got two people killed and everything and yet he’s still best boi? How does he do it.
