Amazing device. One of the main issues with the PS5 imo is that they are forcing you to use their controller only.

Hey, most Razer mice dont have an onboard memory so DPI changes are only effective while the mouse is connected to the PC. Maybe try to google your mouse to see if it has onboard memory. This is required so that your DPI changes carry over to the XIM.

Good review, but wired remote play is not close to being 1ms delay. You say that the beloader is 2-4ms, and that it’s similar to wired remote play. Wired remote play is not as good as you claim it to be. There is more delay.
True. This is a complete rip off.
Depends on the remote play solution you use and how you set it up. Chiaki gets to sub 1 millisecond total delay measured in the lab.

I was fortunate enough to get both of the new consoles, so for now I’ve jumped over to Xbox series x.
They dont get that, you just give them your PSN ID Token which they get from the Sony website when you login. This is mandatroy for all Remote Play solutions by the way. I checked the network for suspicious activities and there was nothing.
@@Legitshooter appears you have a pc background with MnK from your channel. On new CODs, MW 2019, CW, and vanguard…. You can just use native MnK.

So would you say ,it's ok to stick with remote play if you have it? Be interesting to see how the new bf2042 config plays. Currently using bf1 version. Better to map grenade to mouse ,spot or order, to a key/function to keyboard.

Ok cool, now if only I can order one. Or I can try to wait for that PS5 security chip version so I dont have to use wireless, which Im not fond of when playing games especially for this. Little sad it doesnt support third party controllers like the Hori Mini right off the bat since I dont want to connect my PS4/5 controllers and open them up to see if the battery is bloated or not (Which did happen, looked like it was ready to explode).
This is a step forward in terms of a workaround toward Sony's nutty obsession to make developers take advantage of their controller gimmick.

@@XIMCentral just got the Beloader in the mail and having connectivity issues. How do I know if its using my LAN connection? Does it still flash blue? Also when I connect my keyboard it seems to reset everything.
@@sirsmalls4565 Hey, see my most recent video upload on how to get the LAN connection running. The setup process is a bit different then. If your keyboard causes a reset then this could indicate a powerdraw issue. Either shut down the backlight of the keyboard or add an external power supply to your XIM Hub. The Beloader should also be plugged into a phone charger (5V 3A) for more power.
Can you show usability on the console?
Like:
1. Activating the control bar through remote play.
2. Using a local microphone (I always have to unmute mine when doing remote play, super annoying).
3. Re-establishing connection after a drop or activating a local controller.
4. Reading notifications as they come in by pressing the PS button.
Hey, none of these have been issues for me with the Beloader. I cannot test a controller mic though since i only have USB mics.
So excited to get this been waiting for so long almost sold my XIM happy I didn’t unfortunately the one on Amazon doesn’t ship to the uk for some reason 😍

Also is es das Geld wert, das man wieder Spaß beim spielen hat? Controller bockt einfach nicht und ps4 Version ist Schmutz wenn man ps5 Version gewöhnt ist.
Meine Frage, bemerkt man den Delay. Kann leider kein lan Kabel verwenden, spiele mit 125k Leitung aber wlan hat.

Hey, im Vergleich zum direkten Anschluss bemerkt man eigentlich keine Verzögerung. Stell dein XIM mal auf 500hz oder 250hz. Dann hast du in etwa die Verzögerung welche du mit dem Stick hast. 500hz entspricht guten Netzwerkbedingungen und 250hz wenn alle Geräte WLan nutzen.

I'm about to order this but have a few questions. Is the site safe to order from? What is the estimated delivery time to EU? Is the device undetectable like the Xim for COD's anti cheat? Shipping is only 10$ for me so 60$ seems fine to me to be able to play on PS5

@@Majorgaz This is one of the main principles of XIM devices, to remain completely invisible. All that the console sees is a controller sending inputs.
I guess its important to set strict Firewall Rules at your router, if you use this tool. Did anyone checked?

Thanks for this video, love how you respond to then community. How do you like Beloader so far? I found it a little concerning that you had to input your PsN login as well as your router info. Do you have any concerns with your account getting hijacked? I have two factor authentication on my PsN. Will that be a problem for Beloader?
I checked with a network inspection tool and couldnt find any suspicious activities, so id say its fine. As for the login credentials, always use 2FA to secure your account. That way no one can steal your PSN account. Outside of that the beloader just uses the Sony website to extract the PSN ID Token for Remote Play. All Remote Play apps have to do that, which includes all Android, PC, or iOS apps reglardless of if they come from Sony or from a third party company.

Yes you can. Mouse and keyboard settings are handled by your XIM Manager.

Hello! I need your help. I have seen you describe this beloader to work with XIM4. I cannot find any other information online to confirm this. Prices for the xim apex have skyrocketed and I already have my old XIM4. I’m sure this works but I still cannot find any information on how to set it up or if it even works. Hey, yes it works with a XIM4, you can find confirmation posts in the XIM Forum. You must use a PS4 v2 controller though, no other controller works with the XIM4 + Beloader to my understanding.

Yes 1000hz works without any problems with this device! I used 1000hz in most of the clips too! :)
What's better 1000hz or 250hz with beloader?
@@FnartxSA With the most recent Beloader firmware you can use any polling rate again. Most if not all console games are expecting the controller to poll at 250hz so that might be the best profile to pick together with sync off.

Hey, a PC is needed to configure the Beloader so you may have to do it at a friend's house. The Wifi credentials must be the ones from your own house, otherwise the Beloader would only work in your friend's Wifi.

This will sadly not work in all PS5 games. Beloader or Remote Play do work in all PS5 games however.

It might be due to powerdraw issues. Remove some devices and check if it occurs again. If it doesnt, then add more electricity to the setup (5V 3A adapter).

Xim did you have a problem of the beloader disconnecting every 20-30 mins? And do you know how to solve it?
Lots of people have reported this to be a PS5 power issue, connect the Beloader to a phone charger instead helped them.
@@XIMCentral but then you cannot use LAN only feature. I do not know how you can provide extra power including the lan feature
@@aquil40 Hey, to add extra power you either plug the Beloader into a phone charger (5V 3A) or you connect an external power supply to the back of your XIM Hub (5V 3A).

Is there an advantage to the beloader other than it just being more convenient because you dont have to connect the xim and other stuff to pc? Like is there a point for somone who doesnt have a lan cable to get this if the delay is the same as pc remote play
Beloader performs better than PC Remote Play over wireless due to removing the video and audio part of the transfer. It performs around the same when using an ethernet cable for the PC though.

Yes it does, but i would recommend to get the newer P5 Mate. My most recent video is about that device.

To play all PS5 games with a XIM you currently either need the Beloader or use Remote Play.
So I just got a PS5 and I’m coming from PC i wasn’t aware you had to work around this to use MnK

Yes that should be sufficient. If you ave a PC you could just run Remote Play from your PC though instead of using the Beloader.
Pardon my uneducated question, but is the Belaoder absolutely necessary to use the Xim Apex on PS5? I play mostly Battlefield 1. I did buy the Beloader, followed all of the instructions and it doesn't work for me. I just saw in another of your videos that you can use a third party ps4 controller (Nacon Compact) and it will work fine. Do I absolutely need the Beloader, or am I missing the point of what it is supposed to be used for? Please advise. If all I need is the Nacon controller along with the Xim Apex proper firmo, I'll go with that. Much appreciated!
Hey, the third party controllers only work in very few PS5 games. Most new PS5 games dont support that. Remote Play works in all games though, which Beloader is using. You could also run Remote Play yourself from a device of your choice, that way you dont need the Beloader. If the Beloader doesnt work for you please contact the Beloader Guys through their Beloader Forum. Most Beloader issues i heard off can usually be resolved by their support staff.
@@XIMCentral by chance, do you know if using the Nacon controller would work for Battlefield 1? That's my game of choice for own until full support is offered for the Xim Apex without the need of the Beloader.
@@cheeto8481 Hey, BF1 only has a PS4 version so you can just use your XIM by connecting a regular PS4 controller to the PS5. Yes the Nacon would also work for it but if you have a PS4 controller then you wont need the Nacon.

If your XIM Apex is on the latest beta firmware then yes, you can also use a PS5 controller :).
Every time I try to open the Xim Manager app it instantly kicks me out. I even updated to the newest firmware, and updated the app. Help?

When you say "Remote play with Ethernet Cable" you say PS5 Ethernet to PC ? Or PS5 Ethernet to Router ?
Ethernet cable between PC, router and PS5. So a fully wired setup. Beloader does as good as such a setup, which is amazing.

Hey, green/red means there is a powerdraw issue i think. Plug the Beloader into a phone charger (5V 3A) instead of into the PS5 to add more electricity. Also if possible use a PS4 v2 controller instead of the PS5 controller as that one draws a lot of electricity too.
Does the beloader not work with a mic on the controller?
Not yet, maybe they will add that at one point. For now you must use a way that lets you connect your mic directly to the console (USB Soundcard, wireless, phone PSN party app, ...).

Hey, this is only required to play PS5 games. Xbox users dont need this as the XIM has perfect compatibility with the Xbox.

I have a question about the xim manager app if i lower the y/x ratio for Hip does that effect the ads for controlling recoil ?
It makes it more difficult, a lower XYRatio means your up-down sensitivity becomes lower relative to your left-right sensitivity. For recoil control a higher XYRatio is better as that means you have to move your mouse less to compensate the recoil.

Maybe next year, the semi-conductor shortages make it impossible to produce new XIMs right now. Until then eBay is probably your only option :(.

The Beloader is just a compatibility adapter to use old gen devices in PS5 games, such as a XIM. If you want to use a mouse and keyboard then you will still need a XIM, the Beloader only handles the compatibility.

Hey, you must change the PSN ID settings on the Beloader. You specified a specific PSN account there and the Beloader will only work with that one. If you want to play on a different account then you must change the login details on the Beloader.

Yes it allows you to play the PS5 version with your XIM. However i recommend to look into the Beloader Pro instead which is a bit better than the normal Beloader, unless you must use WiFi.

You absolutly can but each time you want to switch an account you will have to redo the Beloader configuration. This takes maybe 2 minutes.
Not sure why we need this. I have no issues on any of these games with my xim. I have an insignia 2.0 powered hub and I’m good. No issues
Not all games require this, you may play games on your PS5 which dont need this workaround.

Hello quick qxn so I tried remote play on a Mac and it’s literally unplayable because of the amount of input lag is just not worth it however I wanted to know how good the beloader works because I’ve heard people say remote play is just as good as the beloader if not better. What are your thoughts and what would you recommend. Thanks
Hey, Remote Play when it runs through your local network and not through the internet runs on 50-12 milliseconds of inputlag. Beloader is much better in that regard, its at a solid 4 milliseconds which is comparable to running your XIM on 250hz.

Hey, you can play the PS4 version on the PS5 with a PS4 controller and your XIM. The PS5 version is only possible via Beloader or Remote Play.
Can adapters such as the may flash magic work with the xim +ps5 and play ps5 games or are there any other substitute adapters other than the bloader?

Hey, did you press the button on the Beloader? Also have you tried a different USB port already?
Tried both usb ports on my pc and put the beloader in then pressed the button once
@@SMGBECHA If that didnt do the trick you can try the "non beloader manager" setup procedure. I made a guide about it not too long ago in my "Play PS5 Games With Nexus" video. The steps are the same for Nexus and Apex.

Hey, the Zen has a poor compatibility with the XIM. They only work together when you are using an original Xbox One launch controller connected to your XIM.
Hey man been a follower since the start. Wanted to ask please could you give some detail as I went to PC recent but still have a working xim for ps5. I just got beloader… is it as easy as plug in with xim and start playing after editing settings on app? Or am I updating or downloading something first?? Bless
Hey, you must configure the Beloader when you get it via its PC Manager. After that its a plug and play device. The configuration steps can be found in my "Beloader Setup Guide" video. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes.

@@Jotagonist Its a wireless mouse that works with the XIM but it uses 2,4ghz. So if you use the Beloader WiFi mode then this could cause interferences as both are using the same signal. One of the two devices should ideally be used wired.
