Which, I'm not sure why. I guess because he's just been around forever, and his contemporaries (I.E. Mcgregor) have one foot out the door.
I think people really respect the guy. He's also a pretty scary personality always icy and locked in around fight time. Dustin has been awesome to watch over the years. Definitely a mount Rushmore of the 2010s fighter.

Agree, two of baddest guys of all time who carry themselves as humble martial artists, so they have to do more for less credit compared to guys propped up as superstars. These guys make the sport.

Dustin poirier has such an impressive resume with wins over six different world champions. The guy is never in a boring fight and definitely deserves to be a future Hall of Famer
He's lost every championship fight he's been in, got smashed, but still a tough SOB!

The similarities between Rob and DP are apparent. Former champs, got beat by some of the best to ever do it and now on the tail end of their careers still eager to show the world and themselves they still got it. Still at the top of the world, but the young guys are catching up. It's been great to see their eras and appreciate these champions.
