I'm interested in the leads
This was funny, I am a car transport broker, a few things aren't totally accurate. First thing is when I transport people's cars I never make them pay upfront, I only collect money after the vehicle is delivered. Another thing that's inaccurate is the talk about 18 wheelers can't go into dense urban areas. Anytime you see a new car dealer in an urban area all of the new vehicles were delivered on 18-wheelers to that dealer. And the part about picking up on an exact day is actually something that customers don't understand. This is why I primarily transport for dealerships and I don't like doing transports for retail customers because they don't understand how the process works and they want their cars picked up on certain dates and sometimes that's very difficult. Car dealerships understand how it works so they don't care so much about perfect timing.
A dealership is going to be in a commercial area , and on a major type of road or freeway in most situations, peoples residential houses, however , can be on one way roundabout roads that are absolutely impossible for semi’s to get to , so you might want to reconsider your thoughts there….
not to mention if you demand crazy things like going to say Manhattan Island you’re definitely going to pay more money for that and have far fewer trucks that will be interested in the load. So just because something might be possible doesn’t mean it’s going to work out well trying to request it or ask for it.
Usually if it's a tight area my customers understand that and they have no problem meeting an 18-wheeler at a local Walmart or something. And a lot of times drivers are just using three car haulers so they can easily go into any kind of subdivision, or tight area
