same tho 😂
I would love to see a reading vlog were you read all the how to train your dragons book
How to Train Your Gavin reads How to Train Your Dragon 👀 I love it!!
second this!
Yep, I want this!
Appreciate that I'm not the only one with an unruly physical tbr. I needed this validation. Thank you. 🙌🏻🙏🏻
Over 500 books in under 18 minutes. You machine! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thinking about it - is there a way you could do a challenge for yourself where you read books with a particular buzzword in the title? Like the word ‘winter’ or ‘lost’ for example as I feel you’d knock out some of your older TBR with something like that. Either way - 😍 So many pretty books!!
I recommend.... Ninth house, my dark Vanessa, witches steeped in hold thread needle, secret garden, animal farm, Dracula, October October, lost tide warriors, perfect series, clockwork crow, daewins dragons, danger crew, the good bear, the boy the mole etc, the beast and the bethany, percy jackson series, six of crows and crooked Kingdom, House of salt and sorrows, good girls guide to murder, the cousins, Nevernight series, Hamnet, such a fun age, fortuna sworn
The fact that this vid is under 20 mins is king shit lemme tell you something 🤴🏻👏🏽
2 and a half god damn hours of raw footage
Oh my gosh, The Okay Witch is my all-time favorite graphic novel! I read it in October and ADORED it! Highly recommend! 😍
Love this! Here's my list of suggestions to prioritize!
-THRONE OF GLASS SERIES
-Daughter of the Pirate King
-The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
-A Monster Calls
Also read and enjoyed so I highly recommend
-Lalani and the Distant Sea
-Furthermore
-The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane
-All Rick Riordan books
-All Grisha books (leigh bardugo)
-All Rin Chupeco Books
-House of Salt and Sorrows
-Wicked Saints
-Alice books (Christina Henry)
-Librarian of Auschwitz
Sorry for the long list but you have so many good titles!!!
Punching the Air was one of my favorite reads last year! So good, and a quick read since it’s in verse. Also, love Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky, The Land of Yesterday, House of Salt and Sorrows, Descendent of the Crane, Gods of Jade and Shadow (this one is actually adult, not YA 😊). Also Jurassic Park is super fun and surprisingly engaging! It was the last book I read in 2020
This is like having your own little bookshop! So cool!! I would recommend The Extremely Inconvenient Adventures of Bronte Mettlestone, it's good fun. Also, Loveless in particular but all of the Alice Oseman 😊
You have a great TBR collection. The books I absolutely loved Are: The Name of the Wind
The Once and Future Witches
The Shining
House of Salt and Sorrows
School of Good and Evil
Inkheart
These are the videos I can't enjoy just chilling with a cup of tea because I have to pause every three seconds to look up a book and add it to my wishlist 😂
Haha oh my that’s hard work!
I love the sass between your filming self and your editing self 😆
I second the comment that you should do a How to Train Your Dragon reading vlog! That would be so cute 🥰
Thanks Gavin for all your info and insight!!! Love your channel❤️
The effort this video took!! omg how long did this take to film/edit!
To prioritise IMO: SAGA, The Inkworld trilogy by Cornelia Funke, I'm currently re-reading them as a buddy read and I still love them just as much! I love those new editions😍 The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett is also such a fun and bonkers read. Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is fab and so is Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. You have so many great books ahead of you, happy reading 😊
Blimey, I'm exhausted just watching this!! Well done for making it, it must have been a marathon effort!
So many beautiful books 🤩 I’d love to see a reading vlog where you try tackle all your unfinished series!!
Omg I love httyd books.those are one of my fav book series.the books get better and better as it goes on(kinda darker as well).i can’t wait to hear your thoughts on them
The Cut-throat cafe is soooo good! literal HP vibes
I could recommend dozens on this list but A Monster Calls is my favourite book of all time and makes me cry even harder every time I read it. The illustrations are phenomenal and Patrick Ness blends reality and fantasy so seamlessly that you never quite know what really happened. I adore his other books too but I would consider this a masterpiece. A fully perfect book in my eyes, which I cannot say of any of my other favourite books. No pressure, of course 😘
So many amazing books there! I don’t even know where you should begin!! Half a King and Jurassic Park are two of my all time favourites. The editing for this video must have been immense, you are a machine ❤️
Honestly I am scarred from the editing haha 😂😭😭
Damn, you smashed out all those titles and authors so fast, I’m impressed 👏👏
You have a tremendous tbr Gavin!
loving the luke's shirt!
I recommend: The Tea Dragon Festival, The School for Good and Evil, You Should See Me In A Crown, Kingdom of The Wicked, Fairest, Gods of Jade and Shadow, Fable & The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue ✨💙
Having read neverwhere, first i would definitely recommend getting to it, but I'd also class it as an adult novel because of the writing style x
Such a relief seeing someone who has as ridiculously huge tbr as I do 😂😍
Oh I also loved House of Salt and sorrows! Super atmospheric and creepy!
Definitely i would recommend My Dark Vanessa. So thought-provoking!
I would definitely say to prioritise Harriet Muncaster- I’m absolutely in love with her Isadora Moon series 😍
gavin that's a whole library 😁😁😁. so cool 💕💕👊
El Deafo is one of my favorites. It's the graphic novel that got me to start reading them. Wish is super cute and a quick read. :)
The Walking Dead, Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World, A Monster Calls, Dark Matter, Midnight Crossroad, The Fifth Season, Addie LaRue
The songs of the lioness series was my first series growing up and the series that got me into reading!
Oh I loved loved loved the Hazel Wood! I think you should read that one :)
Really screaming READ ALL OF THEM. Also I did grab myself a hot drink for this video. 👀
Wow, you have so much patience to go through all of those.
I recommend the below because I've read and enjoyed them: The School for Good and Evil, Hocus Pocus sequel, Crater Lake, Holly Jackson books, The Girl on the Train & The Pear Affair.
And I'd like to hear your thoughts on the below because I also have them on my TBR cart:
Rumaysa, The Great Brain Robbery, The Trouble with Perfect, The Maz Evans series, The Christmasaurus and the Winter Witch, Ghostcatcher, A Whole New World, Pet, The Deathless Girls, You should see me in a crown & Hamnet.
Can't lie, I'm pretty jealous of that physical copy of the raven and the reindeer from T. kingfisher. Their retellings are some of the best!
lolol i gifted you Epoca so obviously I would love to see your thoughts on it BUT Lalani of the Distant Sea ended up being in my top 3 favorite books of last year so definitely recommend!
So many books my head is spinning lol. I hope you have more books you enjoy than ones you don't enjoy.
Thanks for adding to my TBR by about 200 books 😂 I recently read the Shining and it disturbed me greatly, it is absolutely nothing like the film at all!
I am officially peer pressuring you to read Throne of Glass. 😂💙
We have so many books on my tbr that you have on your tbr to . I reccomend reading good girls guide to murder and good girl bad blood , twisted tales series, raven boys series ,
So many books I want to read from the middle grade books! I don't dare to count my TBR. I own well over 2000 books and I think at least half of them are not read yet. The best problem in the world! ;)
Omg you got 500 books? That's so much! Of course you do you, but wow!
I love Peter Pan! So cute.
I also loved Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, very cool and mysterious.
This kinda makes me feel better about the 211 books I have on my TBR 😂😂 From this list, I'd highly recommend The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society was one of my favorite books from last year.
It was a surprise to find Mollie Ringwald is now a translator... 3:46 ... I remember her in Breakfast Club....
Love the Gilmore girls shirt ☕️
such a surprise seeing The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society! That’s where I’m from!
The hazel wood was so good
Neverwhere by Gaiman. AMAZING
Bone Witch-Rin Chupeco. Great magic world
How to Train Your Dragon series. At least read a few. Good fun
Addie LaRue. Such a beautiful atmospheric book. Good cat.
Looking forward to your wrapups!
That was amazing to watch. I feel better about my 339 number now too. I really loved 11.22.63 and Needful Things by Stephen King
My recommendations for priority reads are as follows-
Peter Pan
Animal Farm
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
Inkheart
The Beast and the Bethany
Good thieves
All Lemony Snicket
Neverwhere
Kingdom of the wicked
All Danielle Paige
Half a king
Jurassic Park
IT
Mr Mercedes (the entire trilogy)
The Shining
Circe
The Revenant and
The Name of the wind and Wise mans fear.
Very varied! Feels weird when you break up series! Even if it is that they are written by different authors.
I would recommend The Secret Garden (a favorite classic), School for Good and Evil (need to continue), I did like The Ember Spyglass but read it ages ago, Vicious (refreshing take on something that I thought would be more action).
And for one you don't have on your shelfs: The Way to Rio Luna by Zoraida Córdova. 😊
When I saw the title, my first tought: yes I am not the only one🙈😅🙈😅
Wow, that's a bunch of books....but I love it. Wish I had that many in my home library.
Dragon's Green is excellent! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when you get round to it. :)
Your shirt is really making me want to do a rewatch of Gilmore Girls, lol (:
My vote is for you to prioritize is The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang (and also The Burning God!)
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Inkworld trilogy - I'd love it if you did a readalong as I'd love to reread the series!
I just wanted to note that Gods of Jade and Shadow is definitely an adult novel. Ot often gets miscategoriEd because it has a younger protagonist and has coming of age themes but it's target audience is adults. I loved reading it though and I hope you do too
OMG SO MANY!
The Black Hollow Lane is amazing!!!!
The Lost Boy was really good!!
MiddleGame!!!! COME ON! hahahaha
My dark Vanessa is soooooo good
you should definitely do a reading vlog where you read all of the rick riordan books!
Repeating six of crows duology because its my favourite!!!
1. Finish the Winternight trilogy!
2. Read VE Schwab’s books and please like them 😂
3. I also love the Truthwitch series. The first book isn’t great but it gets better
4. I just read The Fifth Season and it’s so interesting but you have to take your time with it
I need to read the rest of V. E. Schwab's work now! Just finished Addie LaRue and I just want more
I loved the 1,000 year old boy!
wtf some of those arcs are SO PRETTY
read. rick. riordan. you. coward
also.... i love tricia levenseller uwu
NEEEEEEVERNIIIIIIIIGHT
Omg read Saga!! 💙
Escape from Mr lemonchellos library and The Green Mile are definite must reads.
My Neighbor Totoro is also a book?! 😮 I’m going to have to read that sometime.
Also I recommend El Deafo, Pride & Prejudice, Peter Pan, The Boy the Mole the Fox and the Horse, You Should See Me in a Crown, So This is Love, and The Dragon Republic (currently reading this one).
If I feel guilty about my 200+ tbr I will come back to this video for comfort
Witch Boy is so cute! I think you would LOVE it! I think the Hocus Pocus book is YA. At least that is how it is in the US, but I enjoyed it. I have been meaning to start the Demonaia series by Darren Shan again because I read the series at the end of high school and beginning of college, but did not get to the last book in the series so I am going to have to re read the whole thing just so I can complete the series. If you are ever in the mood for that series I am always up for a buddy read. I liked his other series Cirque Du Freak series
El Deafo is an amazing graphic novel! I highly recommend reading it in 2021 if you can. I also think you’d like The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.
here is a list for you that i think you should read when stars are scattered, el deafo, the okay witch, stargazing, the tea dragon society, moonlocket, house of hidden wonders, song for a whale, the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse, land of yesterday - the audio book is pretty good as you read, guardians of magic, shadow and bone, Siege and storm and finally a good girls guide to murder it is set around places i know i got quite excited about that
I’m not gonna lie, you had me at the Luke’s shirt.
I was just missing the backwards cap
@@GavinReadsItAll There’s always room for a covert cosplay of daddy Danes in a future video 🙌
I recommend prioritizing City Spies by James Ponti, it is fantastic!
I'm late to this party! I highly recommend When Stars Are Scattered; I also liked Stargazing and Wish. Amber Spyglass is great and a terrific end to that trilogy. You might as well polish off the Lemony Snicket series though if you are like me you will find The End a letdown. Good luck!
Completely and utterly unrelated but I'm obssessed with your top!!
Saga, Edge Chronicles, Proud, Seven Devils, Perfectly Preventable Deaths, The Power, My Sister the Serial Killer, Jurassic Park, Recursion, The Fifth Season, The Dragon Republic, Middlegame, Fingersmith. Enjoy.
Mines is sitting at 278 and I'm aiming to knock at least 100 off this year 💪
The Darkdeep is incredible and you have to finish the Percy Jackson series (which reminds me I need to buy the Heroes of Olympus series 👀)
Also almost all of the young adult books you have but most of all the Demonata series 🙌🏻
oh finally i found someone i can relate to! are your goals to 2021 to hit 500?
I recommend The Island of Ghosts!
Have you read the Underland Chronicles series by Suzanne Collins?
Wow my owned tbr is 10 books.. and i didn't know where to start. Can't even imagine how 538 must feel, how are you not panicking? (:
Mine is 8 and I was freaking out lol! i could not imagine 500+
Pet by Akwaeke Emezi is quite a quick but powerful read, highly recommend that one ❤️ So many exciting books for you to get to ❤️ Thank you for sharing ❤️
You need to read Lie with Me!!!!! NOW ahaha
Alright I'm just going to write down the books I think you should read asap as they come up in the video: The Tea Dragon Festival, Ninth House, Eva Evergreen, The Storm Runner (If you're interested would love to buddy read this with you!), School for Good and Evil, Aru Shah, Tristan Strong, All Rick Riordan, Pet, You Should See Me in a Crown, The Raven Boys, The Fifth Season, Nevernight, Middlegame, Circe, Fortuna Sworn
I do feel like I just keep asking if you want to buddy read but... Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde or Carmilla 👀 just saying. I own them all, and it would be a great excuse to get our Gothic Fiction nerd on again ahah
How many 😱 Gav how do you not get overwhelmed? If that was me I’d read nothing because I wouldn’t know where to start!
I always feel overwhelmed, it’s why I need to get this TBR down ASAP
@@GavinReadsItAll I wish you every bit of luck I can and if we as viewers can help in anyway, just let us know 😊
The Bone Witch trilogy is really really underrated.
Side note, you should finish up the A Series of Unfortunate Events. I am curious if you'll like The End. I hated it.
One of my 2021 goals is to finish that series, I started it in April 2019 omg 🙈
Thank god you have 500+! My husband and daughter have been attacking me because I have 180 on my physical TBR, I am just going to show them this and tell them to calm the fuck down 😂😂
Tamora Pierce- Her Alanna series is great but I prefer the Wild Magic series.
Read 2 out of this whole lot! Lol! 😅
I'm out of breath... 😂
Awwwww you need to read Sisters Grimm by Menna Van Praag 🤗 that was my fave YA from last year 🤗
Reading Dark Matter just now....it’s good but strange
Great video and it was like a run through of my own shelves. I will have to go through mine at one stage as not all my books are scanned in to goodreads xx
All that VE Schwab... how hasn’t jade convinced you to read them yet?!
