I just collected all the ingredients to make antibiotics I had enough to make 7 lots .there I was at the cams bench and made one and a slider came up so I slid it to the end 7 with the perk card I ended up with 14 lots but it only said I had done 1 out of the 3 I needed to get so this is the thing you have to make 3 separate lots . antibiotics 3 times took me ages to get the parts again . Something to look in to . ps love the vids very entertaining and informative thanks

Just spreading the word, better yield from Super Duper if you come out of crafting each time you get a hit. Obviously tiresome if you're just boiling water, you'd need the OCD card equipped. Sure I do it. But really useful crafting these quest rarities.

Yes, the enclave quest line comes up as you follow along the main storyline. There is a location in Mire called the Abandoned Waste Dump that will push you in the right direction. Also, now since Wastelanders has come out, there are new random encounter vendors that have a chance at being chems dealers that can sell chem recipes as well. They show up at "camp" locations for random encounters. map76.com/acti/retriggercampacti0002e504 shows all the locations they could potentially show up at.
Everything is doable except the chemist badge. Because nobody has or can find the plasma grenade plan. If you have any info on that or have gotten it from somewhere please share. If you search for where to find it online it’s going to say Ash heap events but I’ve done a LOT and so have other people and nobody has gotten the plan.
use the demolition perk card and look in the locked explosive boxes, most the lookout towers have a locked explosive box, that's how I have found the plasma grenade plan 4 times now
ArticTempest thanks for the tip I will definitely try that- do you happen to be on Xbox and have a copy of the plan for sale? Also, when is the last time you found a copy? I know they used to be common but it seems like everyone has been having trouble finding it for the last couple months. Do you mean the demolition perk in Intelligence, or the Scrounger perk in Luck?
ArticTempest i checked all the lookout towers last night and they do have locked explosive boxes most of them - I didn’t find the plan but I’ll be trying again tonight. I don’t think the demolition perk has any effect on loot though, it’s only a damage perk
Sorry, didn't mean to leave you hanging. I got called into work earlier than expected. Wish I didn't have to work that 40 hrs, but, adulting amirite? Anyways, I server hop at Mount Blair Trainyard, if Battle Bot is going on, I do it there, then check the map for anything else. If something is going on, I'll do that event and head back over to the trainyard, and do it all over again. It took nearly 200 events, and it dropped as a reward, not in the cabinets. It seems that the odds are astronomically low. I'm working on the edit to help others as well. The best thing we can hope for is massive good luck and maybe an adjustment in the next patch.

I was struggling until last night I started server hopping and ended up doing the event about 20 times total, the only plan I got that I’d never seen before was the heavy metal chest piece plan - thank you for the info and the effort I really appreciate it and I’ll be doing exactly what you said and I’ll update you if I get it. I have been tweeting at Bethesda and the fallout account every day trying to bring this issue to their attention because I highly doubt they made it this hard to get intentionally. I have also been checking all the red explosive boxes I come across in every server but I’ve only found duplicates of grenade plans I already have. Those work for server hopping as well, as long as you don’t take any items out of them the inventory inside them resets. I’m sure you already knew that lol. Thanks again keep your fingers crossed for me!
WickedyChickady i only have one more question, what level was your charisma when you were doing the events or when you got the drop? Some guys just told me charisma affects event rewards.
My charisma is pretty low, I'm at a solid 4 on my main. Luck at 15. I'm going to end up trying again on my alt, and she's my team play girl with a higher base charisma, and is an unyielding build. I guess we'll see based on that if it makes a huge difference.
Riley Nethercott a lot of people are saying it’s a rare drop from the ash heap events. I’ve been thinking about moving my camp so that I can pick up more events down there after this week.
ArticTempest I have also gotten plans out of those crates. Most recently I got a pulse grenade plan, but it seems to drop more frequently on my character that I have the grenade perk cards on. I don’t know about you.
You can absolutely complete the quest without learning the recipe, you just need to use the diffusers. It is often sold in player vendors, so just keep an eye out for them. It's under the Meds category.

I have the diffuser plan and have crafter diffusers but I can't seem to use them, can anyone help?
I think I figured out how to farm the event, I have done it about a dozen times in the last hour but still no plasma grenade plan yet.

You can absolutely complete the quest without learning the recipe, you just need to use the diffusers. It is often sold in player vendors, so just keep an eye out for them. It's under the Meds category.
