great interview. would like to see more 😊
Excellent work!
Your Channel is great! I would love to watch more interviews like this :) Thank you!
Thanks! I'm working on doing more interviews. It's tough right now because everyone, including myself, are so busy.
Great stuff!
Awesome video!
Very cool insights.
A couple of questions 1) I have seen movies which have a Chief Lighting Technician, a Rigging Gaffer AND a Gaffer. Who is the Head of the Lighting department in that scenario
2) An Oscar for Cinematography goes to the DP. So shouldn't the DP do the lion share of the work of the camera, Lighting and grip departments. If they aren't at least doing the first draft of the Lighting and grip diagrams why would they deserve the subsequent awards they (could) win for the movie
There isn't a lot of videos about gaffer's explaining the aspect of power distribution. I would like to know more about that in a video series.
That would make a great video. I'll make that happen.
What resources can you recommend for improving as a gaffer. Books/podcasts etc any resources you have would be awesome.
