    A couple of questions 1) I have seen movies which have a Chief Lighting Technician, a Rigging Gaffer AND a Gaffer. Who is the Head of the Lighting department in that scenario
    2) An Oscar for Cinematography goes to the DP. So shouldn't the DP do the lion share of the work of the camera, Lighting and grip departments. If they aren't at least doing the first draft of the Lighting and grip diagrams why would they deserve the subsequent awards they (could) win for the movie

    There isn't a lot of videos about gaffer's explaining the aspect of power distribution. I would like to know more about that in a video series.
