The very end of video got quite serious.
The current disability systems are Eugenicist in origin. They are *explicitly* designed to systemically prevent disabled people from having children and families. They are policies that originated in the early 1900s, along with the eugenics movement, which eventually ended, well, in thousands of people in the US forcibly sterilized and thousands more genocided overseas.
The worst part is that eugenics is still a fairly popular idea, because it's ideas come from an elementary idea of genetics, and the fact that it's a pseudoscience takes a degree to fully understand how.

On the SSI thing, my brother is 33 he has schizoeffective disorder, narcolepsy, epilepsy and other mental things. He literally is unable to work, he gets about the same as her and that's only after we got it increased for him, we also had to get him on Medicaid bc the SSI did NOT cover his medical. He can't work a job - my understanding is he can't over 20 hrs a week but I'm not sure. If my parents die and/or I die he will be completely screwed.
This is one of the reasons so many of our mentally ill are homeless.
