I bet this would be so cute for cards at "diy" weddings/baby showers! I'm gonna make these for my nieces for their Valentine's at school! Thanks so much for akin these larger mailboxes!
Maymay that is such an adorable treat/gift box for anyone you love for any occasion. I definitely will be CASEing this at some point in the future. Thank you for all the work that goes into preparing these video tutorials for us crafters. Till next, keep crafting! :o)
Wow I love this mailbox so much!! Thank you so much for adding another size to the collection 😍 I am definitely going to make these for Valentine's Day for my sons classes. I have a Sizzix mailbox Die but it's a pain in the butt to put them together and I like your version WAY better!! Awesome video. I appreciate ya
PS, I also appreciate that you are real and show us mistakes. The honest "I have tried this..., This is what it looks like...., I highly don't recommend it.... but hay if you want to you go on ahead." shpiel. I think it keeps us, well me at least, from trying your mistakes. LOL 😄 Love ya!
Outstanding!! Thank you for sharing. For Christmas next year I was thinking of doing two mailboxes to string the cards we received. The only problem was we decorate the whole house in Snoopy or Peanuts theme..and I mean everything! I even made dog bone garland for the tree! Now I can create one that will go with the size of the plush Snoopy and Woodstock I wanted to use! My mind is racing with this!!! I am so excited!!!!
I was disappointed, this past Christmas, because not one radio station played Snoopy and the Red Baron! I finally downloaded it, so I could have it for myself!
How cute is that black/white stripe with red? Adorable! Thanks for this idea, Maymay, ahead of time for Valentine's Day. Can't wait to try all three sizes. (I'm still making purses from last year, lol.) ;-)
I was just thinking the same thing! Love the idea of the flag being able to move. if you wanted to hide the brad on the inside just put it through the outer layer.
If you glued the tabs inside on the ends then you wouldn't have that seem. You would have to notch the tabs instead of the middle flap, but I don't think it would change the sturdiness of the box.
I hope you don’t mind me saying this Maymay but I was wondering that if you make the inside piece of card stock (red piece) ever so slightly shorter then glue the red one on first and then the striped one and maybe that would help with the gap forming due to the bend, what do you think?
I did it years ago but I have grandkids so I’m doing it for them.Thank you

Would be cute to make in Christmas paper to hold Christmas cards received; give as gifts.
Would this b good idea for a easter basket or just for valentine day
