    Thank you for going through each aspect of the enclosure, I appreciate going through each feature!

    The thing I like about the ZooMed one is that the front air ventilation is so small, that it prevents insects from escaping.

    Thank you for doing this, sold me on the zoomed. I am getting a Leachie, and wanted to give her the space she deserves once the bioactive portion is setup.

      I’m sure she will love it. We need to do an updated video. Our vivarium is growing like crazy!

    Do you think this would sit fine on the exo terra stand i live in England and these are sold here but i cant find a stand. I have 4 exos 1 90x45x90 (36x18x36) and 3 60x45x90s and i have a spare stand and these are £300 and exos are like nearly £500

    I have heard about the zoo meds having issues with the front locks breaking. Have you had this problem?

    • @HerrWade
      @HerrWade 3 года назад

      I did, they sent a replacement though

    • @adastrareptiles
      @adastrareptiles  3 года назад +2

      So far we have not had any issues with it breaking. However, you do want to make sure you hear the audible click of it closing. We came home to find our Green Bush Rat snake had escaped because we did not get it shut all the way! We found her under the sofa.
      We still prefer this over the exo terra though.

      @@adastrareptiles Interesting about the locking mechanism. I just started using Exo terra last year and more into this year for bio dude kits which benefit from the higher front door sill to really fill up on substrate for deep burrowing species. I haven’t tried out the front opening zoo meds yet, but i have been eyeballing their paludariums. I also like Zilla and Atasuki, but they don’t make enough sizes for me to love them in every way, but build quality is there.

      @@sidewaysonhighways We also have one of the zillas. We like that it includes the plastic molded screen covers, but the over all build quality doesn’t feel quite on par with exo terra or zoo med.

    • @sidewaysonhighways
      @sidewaysonhighways 3 года назад

      @@adastrareptiles idk about that. Zilla are bulkier looking and not as elaborate and styled as the other two.

    Hi, can you tell me what is the maximum water level you can put in cm? Looks like 1/3 of the tank so around 30cm of water. Is that correct? Thank you!

    now that you have had this for awhile, what do you think of it? I just bought mine today and I was playing around with the doors, at first didnt know how to open them... I figured it out but theyre really sqeeky and and kind of hard to pull open. Like the entire enclosure just shakes when I open it. Is that normal? And to close it i have to kind of lift the top up a tad to close it. I dont understand. maybe I got a faulty one?

    Very beautiful and sexy enclosure! The one thing someone mentioned was the quality and strength of the screen they said it is weak, what do you think, and update please, cheers!

      Thank you!
      The screen has held up very well for us so far, although the latching system on the exo terra does seem to be more secure. We have had an issues, but if you have an animal that pushes against the top of the cage a lot the exo terra may be the way to go!

    Where did you purchase this paludarium

    • @adastrareptiles
      @adastrareptiles  4 года назад

      We were able to find this paludarium at Nature Box Per Emporium in Aurora, Colorado. However, if you have a Zoo Med dealer located near you they may be able to order one in on their next shipment.
