This is making me realize just how much I want the Traveler to actually talk. I know it would be a lot of extra work for hoyoverse, and it would make the already long dialogue sessions even lengthier, but it feels unfair to have so many characters with fun personalities while the traveler is just 🤐 all the time. The traveler can be so sassy sometimes and I'd love it hear it.
If only they just let the traveler talk instead of Paimon, it'd be nicer cos let's face it, most of the time the quests are lengthier is cos of Paimon's nonsense.

After the Quest, you can find Xiao on the terrace in the Wangshu Inn and he talks with you. (Venti and another Player-Character can be found on the Crux)
So glad to celebrate another Lantern Rite (this being my second one) and once again be with Xiao. Especially since I have him in my party since 2.7. Thank you developers for giving us more content of possibly my favorite ship.
(If you don't like seeing a long paragraph you can skip my comment, because I'm about to ramble about how I became a Xiao simp and a Xiaolumi shipper) I picked Lumine as my traveler because I'm also a girl, but I didn't expect this decision to be a long term worth while investment. At first, my first impression of Xiao was probably something like "oh? Who's this dude, why does he look like Venti- are they related? Oh he saved me :D" without any personal attachment. Up until 2.7- When I saw the platform broke beneath our feet, I was already scared, Xiao will sacrifice himself to get us out of there and he did, watching him falling into the deep dark made my heart ache, and it was at that moment that I started to appreciate Xiao more. I pulled on his banner, but instead of the Conqueror of Demons, I got the Astrologist. It was at that time I vowed to C6 him no matter what, even as an f2p player, this lad deserves better. Thank God, he came home during the 3rd Lantern Rite at 75 pity (was on 50/50 so I was worried I might lose again). Honestly, just seeing Lumine and Xiao interact with each other just melts my heart, even more so when Mihoyo feed us with this much food- a blessing for the Xiaolumi nation indeed. Looking forward to them interacting again, without the death flags of course :D Edit: I forgot to mention this before, no offense to Aether travelers
I remember one phrase of Xianling that she wonder how many meat the dragon Dvalin have (too cook) and I keep thinking what Zhongli would do hearing this, like...back way slowly.
I started this quest earlier in the day then I usually would because I need exactly 20 more primos to do another 10 pull for Xiao, I was absolutely not expecting him to show up and I totally lost it during the whole quest. As soon as I was done I did my 10 pull and got Xiao early which was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. And now I get this, best day ever. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again no voice fits Lumine as perfectly as yours I’m so glad you voiced this
mihoyo knows🤭🤭, that's prob the only ship thatll be close to canon. also, thanks to Lumine, I can tell that xiao social skills have gotten better towards mortals!
Definitely ameno ships been the most close to canon . Xiao and even venti . I love both and how close the traveler is with them both is amazing and even when both of them open up lots . Venti with the theory of knowing the traveler before in the past etc . My strong warrior you worked so hard. Such great voicelines
