Thanks mate 👍
Cloud cloud cloud and more cloud
Thank you, Alex
Fair play, very clear presentation 😅
So last week's ten day trend was utterly wrong 😂
There's a surprise!
It wasn’t as the trend was to get high pressure later next week and at the moment we’re in between
@@TheIlhanTheElequent_ishaq The ten day forecast is wrong very often.....Sometimes completely wrong.
Thank Alex
ohh no Alex! What is that weather...
In the video you talk about how the track of the weather system has changed over the last few days. The forecast on the website seems to reflect track from an older model that the presenters says in no longer most likely. When will the website be updated to reflect the forecast in this video?
The models will keep updating the forecast data. You would expect the differences to be less as we get nearer the time
Thanks Alex
Is it going to rain in Northern Ireland on Wednesday between 12pm and 3pm? No idea cos the presenter was completely blocking it with his arm again! 🙄 1:30
Well, you can do what i do when the forecaster is a bit vague as to central southern England. You look out the window and sum it up for yourself
At less british weather shall return good
Many thanks Alex. Well, we’ve been blessed with 2 gorgeous days, so it’s only natural we should get some weather, after all this is England!!
I hope everyone, animals too stay safe during any and all thunderstorms, and if Alex D cycles in and home, take very great care!!!!
Thanks to those at the Met for your work and take great care everyone! 😊
Alex..... When you say i don't think that's the most likely outcome...
Does that mean you personally?
Does that mean you and the team that you're working with on today's shift?
Or something else?
He’s the only presenter that uses “I” and refers to himself constantly, and it’s irritated me since he first appeared a few months back.
@@jettjones9889 I've also noticed that Alex seems to be the only presenter who says "I expect"
It probably wasn't the best term of phrase to use, but it is what I thought having discussed things with the team of meteorologists on yesterday
@@jettjones9889 how come? I'm a qualified meteorologist with more than a decade of experience. We are a team here and I rely on the chief meteorologists to help prepare but I feel it's important I take ownership for the forecasts I deliver.
@@metoffice It wasn't my intention to get anyone in trouble here. I just noticed he said "I" and wondered if it was this sole person's work to put out a forecast, or it was a team effort.
I then wondered if 3 or 4 met office forecasters worked on the same day and would come to the same conclusion for that day's forecast.
So apologies to those I've upset.
