I find it so interesting her music absolutely does NOT work well live with live strings. She NEEDS that electronic component to really make what she does hit. I think she's figured that out this year..
you might be on to something here. what albums of hers do you think are the best other than Stridulum and The Spoils? Those are the only two I've really been into (and I adored them both). but haven't really dug anything else by her - in large part because I haven't given it the time.
