I'm in aww by how these ladies were able to showcase the emotions and feel of this song. Beautifully executed and Freddie without a doubt would approve!
This reinterpretation shows that a masterpiece can be played in many ways and still be addictive to ears, no matter how much time has gone: 40 years old and it gets better as a good bottle of red. Actually it's an experiment not reproducible so easily with the same magnificient result. Thanks to Queen the giants!
You took the exact words out of my mouth and posted them here. Exactly what I was thinking while listening to these ladies. Bohemian Rhapsody is truly a masterpiece!.
+Aussie Jok what exactly? this pitiful resemblance of his masterpiece? would he have loved the tasteless distortion of his brilliant harmonies? Obviously this was done to mock him or by some untalented musician not understanding either classical or rock music. There are hundreds of thousands of so called musicians but only a handful of geniuses. One can not stop retards from interpreting masterpieces but this mustn't be supported officially. I'm interested who the queen officials are and why did they let this shit be published using their name.
Lasha Martashvili what the hell is wrong with you? everyone have different taste, from your comment meaning "i don't like this video and don't like them either, so you mustn't like it too. they're suck."
+feliciaf8 yes, there are different tastes and no, you must say no to a world wide propaganda against Freddie Mercury lead or approved by some entity calling themselves queen officials discrediting Mercury's personality openly and creativity latently. As for the taste, yes there are different ones mine having formed by music of Bach, Mozart, Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Abba and Genesis as I grew up in a musical family. So I'm pretty sure this video (audio and footage) is totally tasteless and Mercury wouldn't have liked it in any way. Especially he would not have liked crippling his music by anyone.
This masterpiece of Freddie and Queen is now sheet music that can be played in such halls for classical music: just wow, Freddie was 29 years old when he wrote it, now it is a classic pièce, wow!
Awesome, alarming, amazing, astonishing, awe-inspiring, breathtaking, daunting, dreadful, fearful, fearsome, formidable, imposing, impressive, intimidating, magnificent, majestic, overwhelming, , shocking, solemn, striking, stunning, stupefying, wonderful, wondrous. I must learn to play the violin some day. I will I don't even doubt it
This is stunningly beautiful. It is so emotional and heartwarming. After all these years Bohemian Rhapsody is still getting discovered, loved, and keeps the legacy of Freddie alive. I still listen and discover more about the man who made us laugh, gasp, cry and accept. Bless you Freddie.
No 4 people have created as much love in the world as Queen. There is no doubt that they incarnated just for this purpose. Their music has become timeless.
Ka Pow! So much of the classical music we dearly love has been listened to over and over for years, for decades. This - is - new. And this quartet sounds like an orchestra.
I love the original. Really. But god is this version stunning ! Rarely enjoyed both the song and violin this much. Thank you Freddie and the Royal Academy !
Not to take anything away from the Behn Quartet, who do this superbly, but clap clap clap to that arranger (Charlie Piper?). Arrangers, the unsung heroes of any exercise like this....
this is the best classical bohemian rhapsody version I heard watch and heard..I love classical and I love queen's music..Queen's music can be converted into classical...
Can't help but be reminded of Freddie dancing with the cameraman during the Live Aid performance (even though that was during Hammer to Fall), when watching how the camera person moves around the quartet (particularly after the 4:15 mark.
This is so brilliant & beautiful..it made me cry. Yes, I feel Freddie would truly love this! I've been a Queen fan since the 70's & beyond..I recently found music that Freddie & Opera Diva Monserrat Caballe (in Spain) did..a full album..most of you are probably aware of it but I wasn't..was made in 1987..of course no internet then & also the fact I lived in no man's land so had to drive 120+ miles roundtrip to go to a record store..I did it on a monthly basis but never saw the album. All I can say is every song on it is F****g Amazing!! They are reunited together again..Heaven must sound, well, Heavenly!! xo Suzanne
Proves my school loves Queen. During music today, we played bohemian rhapsody, don’t stop me now and we are the champions but then others played ehh songs
Best proof that universal music is just that: rare but there and totally real. It always stays real no matter how it's interpreted. If you prefer one version u might at one point later in life see that and wonder how you could have missed that point in the past. Thats part of human development - universal music just is good in showing that to us at an early state when our slow rational minds are not yet capable of catching the whole picture
I just sat there and was amazed for 6 minutes. This is awesome, all the intensity and the emotion of the original song is there. Thanks.
+Oez Even better with eyes closed...
+Oez Thanks Oez, it was great to record!

I love how the cellist moved the music for the person on her right
Amazed by how Bo-rhap sounds so classical/baroque when performed by string...that's true masterpiece
Freddie would have loved it...Beautiful...
+Aussie Jok Yup, they should have played something like this for freddy before he pass.
+Aussie Jok what exactly? this pitiful resemblance of his masterpiece?
