Good vid but wondered about curve sprinting in practice 4:09 where she stepped on the inside lane line in the beginning and outta the curve. My thoughts is getting close to the inside lane is good but can develop negatively into a habit if line stepping too frequently - but in certain cases can be ignored depending on focus/ drill at hand
Good spot … the girl was having trouble running the bend her inside foot was collapsing and foot pouring in wrong direction. Additionally she was not leaning into bend … so we were working on quite a lot. Could be a subject for another video. Thanks for passing by and the comment
@@Johnshepherdtrackcoach Looked like she was aiming too much after the inside lane line from the start thus followed it and got too close rather than running a straight line in the first 6 strides out - and out of the bend she couldve straighten up earlier (slingshotting) instead of conitnuing to run into the curve causing stepping on the line again.
Can you do a Video about when to take spikeshoes on and when more comfortable running shoes? I wonder if skipping drills, submaximal sprints and other drills are to perform in spikes or not
