It may be a bit unfair to compare this newer set with the 2019 model because the 2019 Hagrid’s Hut is based on its appearance from film 3 onwards, but I think that the 2024 version of Hagrid’s hut is the most detailed version of the hut to date. While it is still another Hagrid’s hut, at least it is different from the 2019 version by making it fully enclosed and based off the first two films. One of my few initial complaints with the 2019 version is that it was open from the back instead of being able to be fully enclosed like the previous versions, but I got used to that version of the hut because it stood out by having the other room on its side. I still kind of prefer the interior on the 2019 model than the 2024 one, but I think that overall, with the amount of new parts LEGO has been making over the years, the 2024 model is the winner of the three. On a side note, it is incredible to get a version Hagrid with his apron on. He even has back printing, which is something we don’t really see for Hagrid. We did get back printing for golden Hagrid in that Hogwarts Icons set from 2021, but it was only the 20th anniversary logo with a few stars around. Since this version of Hagrid has his apron on, it would’ve looked weird if he had no back printing but I’m glad they gave it to Hagrid this time.
