When I watch this it reminds me of watching Kurt Cobain's last performances. It's like you can see the pain staring you straight in the eye. Like they already knew they'd be gone sometime soon right in that moment. It's haunting. And hard to watch without feeling really sad. Wishing their was some way to go back a change things, done something, at least tried, I don't know. It just sucks. I suffer from depression and anxiety, and I know what the pain feels like. I'm sober now, but I could have died so many times in my life. Honestly I'm shocked I made it through, and even more shocked that I've been sober for almost four years now. But I know I'm just one binge away from six feet under the ground.

John Russo congrats on your sobriety as well. I am sober from alcohol, but take anti-anxiety meds. So not completely sober myself by any means. Alcohol was definitely my demon. But I could see slipping into other addictions easy. I get where you are coming from. Eyedea can't be compared, neither can Kurt in my opinion. Both legends in their own right. But my comparison is based on the way I feel watching some of their final performances. Hell performances period. The pain. It's just written all over their faces. I just want to give them a hug. Kurt took his own life. He definitely wanted to die. I don't think Michael wanted to die at all. I think he did feel deep pain, and that pain led to his death through trying to self-medicate. But compare them as artists, no way. Just the way they make me feel is the same.

We were told she wont make it so they brought her home. We would give her morphine to keep the pain away. I mean everything in this song brings to tears. Helped me release all the pain I felt when I lost her. Amazing song and underrated.
