  • One more section before it's too warm to support the weight... Not sure if the crack was the bike or me but I'll sit out the "Shoulder" Season.
It might not look dramatic compared to many of my crashes but my shoulder hit rock-hard ice at just the wrong angle.

I must have crust crashed 5 times like that near pink lake the other week. But no injuries to me or the bike. Are you hurt?

Similar wipeouts have been no big deal but timing on this one was slightly off (possibly because the wheel sunk in so deep, lower to ground) and outer shoulder took the impact on a rock hard surface.
Doc sending me for x-rays for possible fractures today. Ride safe!

InflatablesMTB Man I hope it is just soft tissue damage. The good weather is on the way. You don't want to be out of commission for our best time of year.

@@fatfreeapplecrumble Reviewing old videos, this was actually a separated shoulder 2 or 3rd degree. Took a long time to heal but it mostly did. Thanks for the concern. Hope you're riding safe and healthy.

@@InflatablesMTB I remember seeing this video when you posted it and feeling your pain. That sucks so bad. Do separations take long to heal? Are you experiencing long term pain?
I had brain surgery at the beginning of the summer this year so I missed out on lots of riding. But I made up for it a few months later. 2021 is gonna be great hopefully. I’m gonna make a mullet bike and see how it performs in Gatineau Park.
