Im gonna buy this monitor in 2024 great indian festival hope so i will get around 8k maybe whats ur thought? Can i get around 8k this year
During the sale, the price will come down from 10k to 9k
And additional discounts if you have a Credit Card (max - 500 off)
But what I would recommend is that you go for the upgraded version of this monitor, the 180Hz one
Look at this : amzn.to/48R2192
Same price, but higher refresh rate, so go for this product.
Add it to your cart, and then wait for a week or two, you will be notified that the price of the item in your cart has dropped.
As soon as it comes around 9.5k, just place the order.
@@TechnologyHell I'll buy this one The price is right now 10.290 Maybe 9000 in Sale
I GOT A NEW ONE FOR 8000 INCULDING CARD OFFERS
That's GREAT !
Enjoyy
Just buy it the best monitor I have ever seen working best after 8 months of use ❤❤
Thanks for sharing !
@@TechnologyHell Welcome
hey can you suggest any monitor for both gaming and watching content (by amazon firestick).
This one is a really good choice in that case. It has an insane 165Hz refresh rate, supports SRGB color space, and at the same time has an IPS panel, which makes the viewing experience much much better than anything else.
I would heavily recommend you to go with this monitor, as it has multiple input ports, so you can have it plugged to your PC/Console and the FireTV stick at the same time !
Consider using the upgraded variant of this monitor which comes with 180Hz refresh rate, and at the same price point.
Check it out here : amzn.to/4873Rl3
What about its pixel density , do texts looks pixelated..like current using acer nitro 5 laptop , can i expect better pixel density?? Pls reply asap...Thx👍
pixel density is directly related to the type of panel + resolution
Higher the resolution, better the pixel density
And coming to texts, no they don't look pixelated at all
Got it for 8300 on Flipkart
Does it come with a hdmi or a dp cable??
It comes with a 1.5 meter DP 1.2
Viewsonic vx2479 in 10k or acer nitro vg240y in 10k please reply,
My priority is how much good for eye .
Acer Nitro For Sure!
Consider going for this variant : amzn.to/3OSeh1d
It has got slightly higher refresh rate as well as its cheaper
Which one is a better option between ACER VG240YS (8.8K) and LG Ultragear 24GN60R (10.5K)?
I have heard LG monitors are always a better option with colour accuracy. The peak brightness is around 300 nits vs 240(Acer).
Rest features are almost similar except audio.
Personally, the refresh hz above 120 doesn’t matter since it has to backed by the GPU to sustain such high FPS.
Is the difference significant and What would you suggest?
Acer is cheaper, and has all basic features
LG is slightly expensive, with no major plus points in terms of features or anything
I would recommend acer just cuz it is on a higher refresh rate, and also cuz acer panels are known to last long
Thanks!
Stil how?
?
Which one is better ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q3A or Acer Nitro VG0 VG240Y M3MBMIIPX
Good question
Both of them are the exact same monitors
IPS, 99%sRGB, Dark Shadow Mode, 180Hz
But the asus one has a Variable Overdrive mode, while the acer gives you a static Overdrive
Meaning that you can turn on Overdrive on the acer monitor and force it to run at 0.5ms response time, but the asus one, you can go as low as 0.5, but not consistent 0.5ms latency
Coming to refresh rate, the asus one has 180hz while the one that I reviewed in the video has 165hz, not an issue, this same model is also available in the 180hz variant
And acer one is little cheaper as well
So until and unless you are not going to build a complete Asus theme based gaming setup, go with the acer one
Should i get this one or the msi G2412
Both the Acer and the MSI are great choices, for both gaming and media.
Acer is a bit better when it comes to latency (0.5ms at ultra low latency mode)
While the msi is better with it's design (The stand is cool)
Apart from that both the monitors have IPS panels, but the acer has a bit better contrast ratio, making it look better when dark images are displayed on it.
Acer one does have some inbuilt gaming features like Overdrive mode, performance monitor, overlay crosshair etc
So as a conclusion I would recommend the Acer VG240YS, as it is a bit more power packed, that too for a little lower price !
And if buying, do consider the links in description, as buying from Amazon will be a lot cheaper than buying from any retail offline store (you have to pay mrp + taxxes)
@@TechnologyHellis the monitor still good? Do you have any issues with it?
yes, I am still using it as my primary monitor, and believe me its working great!
Catch : If you are really gonna buy one, then get the upgraded version of this monitor, its the same ACER VG240, but at a refresh rate of 180Hz, and the price is slightly lower than the current price of the 165hz variant. Check this out : amzn.to/3XqRXzc
is it suitable for office work??
Yes, and you can go for a variant with less refresh rate so that it gets even cheaper with all features same as this
Check this : amzn.to/3Gp1LBo
I bought same model from amazon for 9,599 on 30 July 2024 and I faced screen flicker issue with in 5 days of light use (display gets overheat). I returned it
Didnt face any such issues as far as of now
Been using it for over 2 years almost
@@TechnologyHell oh that`s good for you, I think the latest production unit has that issue... anyways thank you for your reply
its so cheap and according to your indian festivals, after the sale, it is even cheaper 😭💀 if i bought this in my country it would cost me about 50K PKR or maybe a little less than 50K PKR.
damnnnnnn thats sooooooo sad
can i connect it to the ps4 without the cpu? just the PS4 connect to This Wonderful Monitor??
Yes sure you can
@@TechnologyHell THANKS👍
Hey.. can you suggest me the same live wallpaper link or where did you download/install it from. Thanks !
The wallpaper is Night City from Wallpaper Engine
Can you tell me should i spend 3k more on gigabyte g24f or should i buy this one under 10k
Both are really good monitors.
If you are buying one, then know these few things before the purchase :
Acer has an extreme mode where you get 0.5ms latency (while its 1ms on gigabyte)
Acer has a better contrast ratio, which gives a better view on dark visuals (whether it be game or graphics)
Acer has a better software control over the monitor.
While the gigabyte has one significant difference : It has got 2 usb ports on the back (which ofcourse need an additional cable to be plugged into the pc)
Conclusion : Go with the Acer VG240YS, not only because it is cheaper than the other one, but also because it has got a much better display panel than G24f.
(PS buy from the link in description
Nice..
Thanksss
does the monitor come with a display cable?
Yes you get a display cable (2 meter) with the monitor
How much fps it’s getting on Val?
It reaches 180fps max
and on an average it gives me 140fps
but your frame rate will depend on your pc configurations, not the monitor
mine is a ryzen 5 2400g with 1050ti
Nice
pranaam chachi ji _/\_
Can you connect speakers to the monitor??
Yes, the monitor does come with a 3.5mm audio output jack as well as integrated speakers
What HDMI version does it support
hdmi 1.4
bro can i connect this laptop to my moniter because i dont have a pc
yes it willwork great !
along with the monitor make sure to get a good HDMI cable which can support 165Hz
Does the monitor support consoles like the ps5 if yes how do we change the refresh rate on the console
There is nothing as such as specifically made for consoles.
This monitor will easily work with any console device without any issues.
Coming to adjusting the refresh rate, the ps5 can only give upto 120hz output.
No special settings needed.
Simply plug and play!
@@TechnologyHell but how do I change the refresh rate if I want to cap it to 75 or 100 how would I do that
Yes that is doable. From the ps display settings you can cap the frame rate@@faizchandiwala6008
Does it support g sync??
its just supports V SYNC
Bruhh who's valorant id was that
That's my primary account
TechnologyHell#IND
Hey can i use the hdmi and power cable of my old acer monitor for this and still get 165hz?
you can use the power cable as it wont bring any effect
as long as we consider the hdmi to be a good quality one, you can use it
use it, if you still play bad at fps games, its time to get a new one xD
@@TechnologyHell thank uu
Did you say it supports 4k resolution?
supports
but native 1k
@@TechnologyHell I don't think it's possible for a 1080p monitor to support 4k, does it have 3840 x 2160 pixels? can you change to 4k resolution from windows display settings or Nvidia control panel? or do you just mean you can set a youtube video's resolution to 4k. if you watch a 4k video on 1080p, it will only be as good as a 1080p video.
from nvidia control panel, you can manually force it with a custom resolution to go upto 2160 pixels, it will reach there, but won't look clear nor usable.
Natively it is a 1080p monitor, and will work great when used with the same resolution.
So no, its not a 4k eligible one
@@TechnologyHell custom resolutions break the monitor, if you go lower from 1080p to 1728x1080, 1600x1080, etc, it's a bit safer than 4k on a 1080p monitor. I've tried it and it caused colour blotches and flickering on my monitor, it went away after a few days. Custom resolutions don't really count, Nvidia shows you a warning before you create a custom resolution. Whoever reads this, don't create a custom resolution, unless you want to destroy your monitor.
Bhai sab cheeze side ..... ACE badia tha bhai ❤️
thanks bhaii
How is the display. Is it better than lg
yessir
LG supports only the standard color space, while the acer one is capable of 99% sRGB mode
@@TechnologyHell but in Amazon it shows 180hz
I have the VG240YS - 165hz
that one on amazon is VG240YM - 180hz
Bro can i use the monitor cable and still get 165 hz pls reply.btw nice video
The Display Cable that comes with the monitor, it is just enough for the purpose
Remember : Display Cables are capable of giving 165Hz even if you buy a cheap one, but for HDMI you need a really good quality cable to achieve proper 165Hz output
@@TechnologyHell thanks bro is there any cons for using the display cabel that comes with the monitor
zero cons
go ahead !
@@TechnologyHell thanks for the advice 🙏🙏🙏
Can you specific what you mean by good quality like hdmi 2.0 or 2.1 aur any brand?
I bought it for like 15k inr
it hurts bad when the price drops after youve already bought it
Hey bro can you make tutorial about colour calibration that you did in video and results are same for every vg240ys user ? or it depends on graphics card and cable
it will be same for all
yes you can use the settings i have used
otherwise let it be default
@@TechnologyHell can you tell your colour calibration settings ? I can't see your calibration settings in video it was in 2x speed
Sorry for the late response
Brightness : 70
Contrast : 50
Black Boost : 5
Color : 2.2
Warm
@@TechnologyHell thanks stranger
Hi I have integrated onboard graphics on Ryzen 5 2400G CPU. Will the display work on 165 Hz with this CPU without graphics card?
it might work, give it a try, as that vega 11 is not so strong to give you 165fps on games
