I had my DC2R since year 2000. Still going strong. I highly recommend looking into EWP conversion. The resistance the mechanical water pump encounters exponentially increases with rpm. It is like wind resistance, just a lot worst, due to the higher viscosity of the engine coolant. Once you have removed this parasitic drag from the B18C5 Type R engine, the engine will rev much faster and more responsive. This is much more notable after the VTEC kicks in. On stock engine, the engine output is very much restraint and held back. Compared this to a Type R after EWP conversion, it is night and day improvement. Suddenly staying NA is not that bad because EWP actually enhances the responsiveness of the NA Type R engine way better than other mods can provide. 💪

Fact fella… have owned one clean DC2 wish I still had it but completely get it. Anyone who’s never driven a Type R in general just doesn’t get it. 👍

I agree, but do like the music, which is nicely chosen IMO. Maybe just a couple spots where a 7-9.5k rpm shoots over the music?
