@Russian Disinformation I know this is late but honestly Kotor 2 is my favorite video game of all time. Loved what they did with the force aswell when making the story and everything else.
Action isn't all that counts in a movie. Frankly, I think KOTOR has a much stronger story than Attack of the Clones, the characters are more memorable, the dialogue of the main characters doesn't suck ass like in Attack of the Clones, plus being able to play as all the spectacular characters in the game adds a whole new level to KOTOR that was obviously missing in Attack of the Clones (because it's a film), and it has great action as well (in gameplay and in the very entertaining cut scenes)!
The romance scenes (that suck and are actually quite long in AOTC) aren't the only scenes of dialogue that are mediocre, pretty much all of Anakin's lines are that way. Especially when talking with Padme. Obi-Wan isn't that way though. I think Bastila, Carth, Canderous, Revan, Malak, etc. were more memorable, and were better characters than Anakin and Padme in AOTC. Plus, to touch on another topic, Jar Jar Binks initiating Chancellor Palatines emergency powers in the film was quite ridiculous!
Is there any professional video game review site that delivers quality content like this? I don't feel that IGN, GameSpot or Polygon deliver on video reviews, they often seem overblown and chaotic. No in-depth reviews like these.
@@SevenDeadlyCinema giant bomb can be real bad if its brad or abby doing the quick look. Brad doesnt understand things that well and abby miss the start button for okami lol
IGN, Gamespot, and Kotaku we’re always the go-to back in the day! I remember when Greg Miller first started working for IGN. The company was so small back then, that Greg even documented his story of becoming a legit journalist and even his move when he was hired. The content and polish back then was unmatched. These guys used to work as hard as the developers with their reviews. Now it’s like a pay-to-win review system, even for a lot of you tubers now.
I bought Jedi Academy about a week ago and I’ve been loving it, so I guess this game is next on my list. For being released the same year as Academy the KOTOR graphics look a lot more polished. Is the lightsaber combat comparable?
Not really. The combat in KOTOR is turn based like an old school RPG. Academy's combat is in real time like an action or shooter game. KOTOR is more about tactics and strategy over fast paced action.
I think they need to really make another ge like this we like to hav chocies amd to make are own people and to be gud or bad plz starwars make another game its way better then the starwars 3
I think he's right! It's better than Attack of the Clones and slightly better than the Phantom Menace! ROTS, on the other hand is better than KOTOR (even though he didn't mention it).
I miss the old Gamespot :(
This old reviews are always cool and go straight to the point.
“If you would like to learn more about gaming visit shitty game site SMASH DAT LIKE BUTTON!!!”
Greg kasavin was one of the best reviewers of 90s & 2000s. I miss his reviews but m happy that he's working with great studio like supergiant
and now you can play this on your iPhone. Nuts!!
He went on to be the writer/creative director for Bastion! Onto bigger and better things.
Greg K was a legend.
Gamespot is absolute shit these days.
Best Star Wars game Ever, Just finished it, and damn what a ride it was.
Red&Black Flag yes, definitely yes!
Red&Black Flag 2 in my opinion is better than 1, if that tells you anything.

old gamespot was the shit. today's gamespot is just that. shit.
This guy became the writer of
Hades, Pyre, Transistor, & Bastion
"It's a better Star Wars property than the 2 recently released theatrical films..."
Now it's better than the last 6 films. Ouch.

Spot on review this man knew what type of product he had though I doubt he expected the cult following the games have almost 2 decades later
I agree. Greg's reviews were always spot on. He knew a good game when he saw it.
And why exactly do you think this?
How is the Xbox version that much more pretty?
If Star Wars knights of The Old Republic release for PS2 was better
Back when game reviewers were nerds not activists. Wish it was 2003 again
was here in 2020
Sadly Bioware have fallen away since 2003.

Nah the game is far better than the two of those films combined.
