We put Cauliflowers for 30 min or longer in saltwater to get any insects out of them before we eat them cold in salads or pickle or cook them, I'm plants grow this autumn different kind of colour (white, green and purpleone) to grow in my new garden cannot wait!
Ah another morning another living vicariously through Danny and Wanda. I bet that was the sweetest cauliflower you ever have eaten. Every harvest brings back memories of being out in my garden. So looking forward to this years harvests if the weather ever cooperates enough to get things in the ground
Hi Danny and Wanda. Some nice peppers and more are coming. Wanda wants her red one 😃 I rejoice to see all the fresh produce. That cherry tomato sounded good. That's some nice looking cauliflower. Just have to work with the netting and grow more next year. I've been putting garlic and water in blender and spraying my plants and has helped keep the bugs off a lot. Maybe wouldn't help there. You are going to enjoy some tasty veggies. You have some happy rabbits to get some yummy stuff. They like the healthy choices you give them. Time for the chickens to get their feast too The cows can't dilly and dally around or they'll not get any. Spoiled babies and love their fresh goodies. Thanks for sharing and I know you were blessed with some great veggies 😀
Good Job with the new raised vego garden beds. I love them. Wish I had one. Makes me want to get out in my garden and check on the spinach. Hungry for a salad today. Yummy! We have netting over the cabbage and cauliflower that I grow in the ground. We have a few raised bed but most of the garden in in ground.
Wonderful harvest. We had some severe worm pressure this year. Weeks of walking the greenhouse picking off worms every day till we had them under control. Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day.
Mrs. Wanda, I know you want to allow that bell pepper to turn red, but when it starts to turn orange to red, you can pick it then and let it finish ripening in a cool window sill, I think Danny is right if you let the plant ripen it all the way to red for ya, the plant will quit producing as flowers for more bell peppers on that plant! Just something I have experienced and learned observing my bell pepper plants over the years and thought I would suggest to save you some aggravation! May God continue to bless your harvest this year! 🙂♥🙏🕊🌄🌽🫑🍇🪴🌾🍊🍍🍓🫐🥒🥕🥔🍅🍎🍐🍑🍉🌳🌹🐞
MY cabbage & cauliflower looked really good till a couple days ago & now I have bug too ☹ Need to get me some cover & plant earlier next year I guess. Your garden & pickings look great !!!
🦋👋🇺🇸🕊️🕊️🕊️👋Good Morning Mr Danny & Miss Wanda and Everyone. Beautiful ❤. Amazing veggies ❤. I’m in Eastern Pa and I can’t wait to start my little garden in a few weeks. Such a blessing. God is Good 🙏🙏🙏🙏Amen
Nice results on growing veggies in different ways! Love seeing the rabbits eating fresh greens. Dad had some years ago and it’s still fascinating to watch them eat.
Nice little harvest! I picked a few English Peas (Alaska variety) this morning as well as an onion as it had developed a scape at the top. Onions aren't ready yet, but this one had enough of a bulb that I can eat it. Not enough peas for a serving but I put them in a freezer bag and pop them in the freezer and add to them until I get enough. Still wondering about your "surprise." 🙂
Wanda said she was going to replace the cauliflower with butter beans. In the Deep South, it’s getting too close to hot weather for brassicas to continue, so they will return as a fall crop.
...."so you gluttons can have more to eat...completely spoiled." Bout fell off my seat! 😆 🤣 😂 That was hilarious Danny! Love those smart Dexter's ❤ Great video! Enjoy that fabulous cauliflower! Let us know how you prepared it if ya can!
Danny I am 73 and live in Mid-South Carolina and my dad used Self-Rising flour on all his cabbage plants and broccoli plants and any other vegetables that had worms on them that was 50 years ago, and I still use.
@@johnsites5105we were trying to stop grasshoppers and it killed our plants. We still don't know why but it happened. We figured it was because flour has over ten chemicals sprayed on it during it's processing.
Good morning! Your veggies are really coming in nicely. Some of my English peas are starting to bloom. Do you plant a Fall crop of them? PS, I love those spoiled cows and bunnies!
I still have another day in SW MO, of rain it is suppose to start raining here in a hour or two. If we could have up a bunch of this rain for later in the summer. I have some copper wire and have been making some copper coils while it rains.
Get you some beneficial insects they will take care of those worms!!! Wow, we have gotten 3 inches or so in the past week and half one state up. What fertilizers do you and Ms Wanda use?
The peppers I raised from seed got white flies. The soil I bought was loaded with them. Need oil does not work. I hate to throw them all out but don't want to infected other vegs. Any suggestions?
How do the worms get on the cauliflower? Is it by those little white moths laying eggs? my cab leaves are starting to look like your leaves there. Wondering what to do there’s no cabbages yet.
Yes, the moths have been laying eggs and the caterpillars are the (ravenous) young. Netting is a great way to prevent the problem, but the budget goes only so far.
Hi man. Thanks for great sharing. We've keeping eye on your channel for a while. Now we are exploring a collaboration with you in heavy equipment parts, but we did not find you contacts. If interested, plz let me know anytime. Thx❤

I known people to put screen over them it does the job.
Kinda hate seeing the rabbits in such a small pen .
I use to have mine in 4'x8' or long runs .

Oh those blackberries! You can have the cauliflower, I’ll take the berries!
Beautiful gardens! We love our 6 vego beds. We put our covers on the cauliflower last night. Those worms won't have our vegetables either!
This could be the perfect Danny and Wanda video. Thanks yall.
Nice peppers! I love the minis! Your tomatoes look good too! I have green tomatoes on my minis so I’m just waiting!😊

Hi. I was so excited about seeing the first watermelon. An orange and black bug stung my grandsons baby watermelon. Stinky bugs. God bless ✝️
Thank you and God Bless!!
Don't you just love going out in the morning and picking everything you need to eat fresh every day. It just tastes so much better.

That’s definitely a feast for all. Your rabbits are so healthy looking and happy. That is why I love gardening, everybody eats. Shalom!
Loving all of your fur babies and feathered friends! They eat as good as y'all do! Spectacular garden. Looking awesome as usual.

We've put cabbage next to our Broccoli this autumn/winter.
We use maze products netting.

@@pecangrovems Thanks! That is good to know!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful animals,so peaceful.
I bought netting to go over top of all my Brassica cabbage, broccoli cauliflower so I’m crossing my fingers to keep those caterpillars away
Wonderful video. Everything looks awesome. Thank you both for sharing your day with us. Blessings to you both
Nice heads of cauliflower. If you cut cauliflower and broccoli off at the ground level leaves they will regrow.
Wanda said she was going to replace the cauliflower with butter beans. In the Deep South, it’s getting too close to hot weather for brassicas to continue, so they will return as a fall crop.
Good morning guy's, those little tiny tomatoes are adorable. They would be perfect for a greenstock.
I think you have a problem with the tomato starts you bought...neither looks as good as the other plants❤
The sound on your video is excellent.
Just beautiful Vegas ❤

Why’d y’all put basil and rosemary in the same container? They have VERY DIFFERENT water requirements.
Rosemary can handle a variety of different situations.

Because we are so busy building infrastructure we haven't got to it yet. You do what's important first.

They MAY be bred later on, but they are fertilizer factories for now. For what it’s worth, they are TAMUK, bred for their heat tolerance.
