I dont know why people say you need to be good at math. I don't use math at all when I solve the cube. I just use the simple set of turns, or the "algorithm"

I was able to solve 1 and a half layers before I needed help. I eventually realized on my own side by side would be a nightmare. Then I got the last 4 on the corner edges (yellow side filled) and got stuck for a day on that. I even made my own algorithm where I take one white column turn 180 and rotate it behind the other column so I can turn the entire layer without disturbing it.
pretty sure solving it side by side is called f2l and its not a nightmare

I am someone who has just recently solved the Rubik's cube. And this is exactly how I felt! I solved it a week ago and can already solve it within 1 min and 30 seconds.

I think if you solve the (rubiks brand) cube with CFOP on your first try you should be accepted in to Harvard

That ending Is literally what happened to me after spending ten minutes trying to solve it and finally doing it and my brother had to get the cube and try to do the 2 move trick he just ended up scrambling it and we had a unso,ved cube for a week untill i memorized the beginner method but now ik around all the algorithms

im new to cubing and it took me 3 whole days of constant solving to just do it for the first time so this is pretty accurate for me

It's been two and a half yrs since I started for and it took me a week to solve for it the first time😂
I managed to find a good First tutorial that explained it in detail so i could solve it in under 3hours consistently.
I'm also new to cubing and I found a really good tutorial and was able to solve a 3x3 for 25 min for the first time and been decreasing the time it took to 8 min on average... let me tell you something...the moment when I saw the cube solved made me feel a feeling I never felt in my life.... accomplishment....

My first "real" cube was my dad's Square-one (with the stickers being in the wrong place) but my first (and only) Rubik's cube is a Rubik's brand

I remember my fist rubiks cube. It took me a while to figure out where to go to learn how to solve it (I did not have youtube). Once i found the rubiks cube website i used the tutorials on there. It took me a month to figure out what he was doing with the white side. once i finnaly go the first side done i mastered the cube in a week. I am a little embarased that i failed the white side but instantly got it when i was given the algorithms

That friend in the video named Sebastian...It reminded me of my old friend named the same name and he was veryyy short like REALLY..he was as short as kindergrandener but he was is in fourth grade and he can solve a rubix cube in 1 minute..also he just needs to take a quick look at the rubix cube and he can memorize it then he can do the rest with his eyes closed! It's crazyy, but yea, it reminded me of him.
