I‘m so happy for you! Can’t wait to see the hause tour. A new hause needs a while to really dry out. For a few months, set your heating a little higher as you normally would. And ventilation ist also important. No matter how cold, open your windows for 10 minutes at least once a day. Enjoy your home. Greetings from Austria

I'm glad for your enthusiasm about living in your new house. For all the American folks who are interested in this channel, we Slovenians build our houses to withstand at least 100-1000 years. Everything is brick and reinforced concrete. We build them for ourselves and for our children. A lot of slovenian kids stay at parents house all life, one floor for the parents, another floor for the kids. Our houses are mostly overbuild, meaning the house itself is bigger as we need them to be. And most of us stay in our hometown for the rest of our lifetime. So I think, this is a big difference regarding US citizens and most northern Europe nations. But so are we brought up :)

There is literally NOTHING better than floor heating. Excellent choice.

Agree a lot. The only issue, we had with floor heating, were bathrooms, where it was little bit cold. Had to do some non optimal setting with additional radiator, and it is ok now.

in winter, in heated home there is no humidity. The air in my home is so dry now, I use humidifier to pump moisture out, so it's easier to breath. Otherwise I get nose bleeds. Tell us a bit about your new place.

I want to give you advice regarding humidity when you move in you should keep it very warm first year and provide good ventilation Luka is tipical man thinking about technical details and I guess financial issues but woman think about making warm home and character of home ♥️

My proposal is that you purchase some cheap hygrometers (sometimes combined with a thermometer and watch) and make vent when moisture exceeds 70% relative humidity. This method is much better than filling. Contact me, if you need more advice through FB..

I KNOW how you feel, exactly the way I couldn't wait to see my house renovated in january 1983, which I cannot live at this moment, as any normal folks -> Do you wake up during the sleep, imagining your new house ? :-)
