Justification for playing around imperm and mekk knights even in edison
They call us mad for always playing around Blasting Fuse IRL, but here we are. I love your inclusions, Winged Rhynos and Babycera and Blasting Fuse, delicious spice.
Rhynos is also fun with Pineapple Blast (normal Rhynos, activate Pineapple, chain Rhynos, Pineapple resolves destroying all monsters your opponent controls since you now have none if all you had was Rhynos). Pineapple probably not a good fit for this build though.

Was very funny how the first BW player was super punished by auto placement in columns.

I can't imagine how I'd feel if I flipped Ryko just to pop a Sand Moth
and it is earth so u can set it up with rat kinda, maybe playing book of moon along the way as interuption and to get it facedown. also this high count of earth monsters kinda screams for Gigantes however then its more of a beatdown strat

I played Chain Beat at locals for the longest time in XYZ era. I played ONE singular copy of Blasting Fuse for this EXACT reason. I would chain Wind-Up Rabbit or Evilswarm Thunderbird's effect, and dodge the destruction. IMMEDIATELY after whenever I resolved Blasting Fuse, my opponent would ALWAYS start putting cards in separate columns. I would then side out Blasting Fuse for games 2 and 3. Worked every time 😂
EDIT: Alright yeah, after watching this video, this is absolutely what you are playing. Basically Edison's equivalent of Chain Beat. If you want a good suggestion, play Elemental Hero Wildheart (Tenkabito Shien works too). Giant Rat can summon him, and he's unaffected by Needle Ceiling and Blasting Fuse. You can even try throwing in Miracle Fusion to make Absolute Zero or something
I was trying to find some chain beat type cards but strike ninja was too conditional!
The wild heart is a great idea! Maybe with hydrogedon to fulfill the waters for miracle fusion! I might have to revisit this strategy with a hero version:)
@@Zuczid Use Abyssal King Shark as your water target. He's immune to non-targeting destruction once a turn. Both him and Wildheart will be better than Winged Rhynos. Having him leave your field every turn makes you lose field presence. Wildheart and King Shark will stay on the field so you can summon more guys.

You'd think something as versatile as Winged Rhynos would see more play in a format where spot removal traps matter sooner than now. Blasting Fuse is probably getting carried by autosim shenanigans and this format being a "pre-column" era though, if the format evolves to a point where things like this and Rampaging Rhynos(the one that can shift columns to attack at 2k) actually see regular play it'll probably turn into a "hit & run" style sidedeck option used to blindside one game and free up space for more "practical" stuff the next, which is still a neat niche in and of itself.

Great video, I actually have been thinking about blasting fuse for a while, but totally forgot winged rhynos
There is also needle wall, a permanent trap card for which you have to roll a dice every SP, and destroy cards in column regarding what you rolled
I used to use this to grind when I was playing my Yu-Gi-Oh video games. My favorite combination was using elemental, hero, wild heart in the same column as blasting fuse. Wild heart will never die from the effect so it’s a one for two.

This is beyond cursed
Ok hear me out: Play Winged Rynos in a hero control deck. Stratos cards like gadgets, machina gearframe and well stratos all play around background in a simular way to rhynos allowing you to mantain hand advatange even if they're removed. BUT the hero deck can also play wildheart which combos with the destuction traps by not being effected
playing the hero cities is good to by either letter your stratos, wildheart, oceans and alias hit over stuff or reviving them after battle to mantain more advantage

Not to get in here with my fuckin HERO BRAIN like always, but I imagine Wildheart would go kind of crazy in this specific strategy, and it would let you use Stratos, Alius (+Gemini spark (((better Icarus attack)))) and future fusion, Gaia and miracle fusion. Idk I think this is a ripe tech card in the online hero meta
I love Wildheart, the deck in duel links back in the day with Wildheart, Tenkabito, Needle Ceiling and Two Pronged Attack was so cool
A hero version could actually be SO good! I will definitely have to start cooking with this spice:)
@@Zuczid hell yeah, a hero engine would go hard alongside all the intentional self-destruct cards, and of COURSE, the Rhyno himself

I remember teching a copy of Blasting Fuse in a Fortune Lady deck as a way to trigger Fortune Lady Light. It worked a few times, but unfortunately wasn’t that good due to Light’s tendency to miss timing ☹️
Damn the rhynos are nostalgic for me. We're reaching a whole new dimension of tech. They quit because they had a short fuse.

Before you revealed the decklist, my mind went to synergy with blackwings: you can chain icarus for a 3 for 4, you have double icarus, and you already have the blackwing engine. Ofc, that's not jank enough

So how does this deck deal with Royal Decree?
how are there no comments pointing out the "CHOOSE ZONES" option sitting on the screen as you insinuate the simulator doesnt allow such a feature?
There is an option to manually place your cards
I always click choose zones cuz ive already been conditioned from playing modern yugioh(link monsters makes zone placement relevant and too an extent mekk knights and infinite imperm)
Vice versa im also conditioned to attack with my lowest attack monster first up to my highest even when playing modern yugioh due to gorz/tragoedia.
This isn't a feature of the simulator but of the format itself, up until a certain point you were not allowed to choose which zones things were placed in, you have to go according to the order set out in the rules.
