      this is mad dumb. You guys only wonna see the negative stuff. Go on tiktok, and there's white people saying you're invited to the picnic and vise versa. When it comes to racial stuff I think a lot of black americans are just problematic for no reason

      Kez “black americans are just problematic for no reason?” AA are literally murdered by white cops everyday for no reason (Ahmaud Arbery, Breanna Jones and multiple others) but they’re the problematic ones? Just because one white person on TIKTOK said you’re invited to the picnic doesn’t mean that racism isn’t still a huge deal.

      Honestly I think the only requirement there should be is: don't abuse your child. I don't think the other things you listed really matter and I'm not sure how any of those things would be tested or what the standard would be. There are plenty of people out there who can't tell you what 12 x 12 is or who are living paycheck to paycheck, but are the most caring parents in the world. I would pick the environment I grew up in (poor immigrant parents that barely spoke english) rather than an environment w/ some rich, smart people because I learned a lot from the struggles and it shaped me to who I am today.
      Plus idk how the government would even regulate that. They can't even get CPS, public schools, or the foster care system down.

      @Saish. because then the kids could be raised in a safe enviroment. If not, it could really mess with a child's head and turn them into somebody nobody wants and it would all be the parents' fault for that.

    I actually do happen to think that romantic relationships are overrated. While yes, humans need to form bonds with others in order to thrive (as we are social creatures), oftentimes being in a relationship or having a boo is glorified on social media and little light is shed on how actually challenging/frustrating/hurtful they can be. You are making yourself extremely vulnerable to someone, and many a time from this heartbreak ensues.
    It also seems that many people are in a constant state of waiting for a relationship. And in a sense basically waiting for their lives to start, for someone to come into their lives and bring them happiness instead of finding their own joy & coming to love and understand themselves.
    So in sum: being single is under appreciated

    I'm sorry but if you think white people should not be able to adopt black kids then you're being ridiculous. You might well just say "No one can adopt anyone from a race other than their own" Which is also ridiculous. The foster care system is so bad now a days, if someone is willing to adopt someone and give them a loving home, missing out on some of their original culture, is a sad thing, but it is a much better alternative. Also, there ways for black people who were adopted by white families to still be in black culture. There are also white families who try to show their adopted black children black culture also.

      I know right!!! A lot of my family is unable to have kids so I have an adopted aunt, 6 adopted cousins, and tons of adopted second cousins. My family has people of every race and even people from different countries. I think it's ignorant to say that people shouldn't be able to adopt outside of their race, bc a lot of people do a great job raising their adopted children with their birth culture. I know that my family keeps their native languages alive and makes sure that they feel completely normal and comfortable. Not only is this giving these children a loving home, but it's giving my family who can't have kids the opportunity to have the kids that they've always dreamed of. It's not that they're saying, "I want black children," in fact in many adoptions, the birth mother picks the family that she thinks is the best fit. Overall, I think that more people should look into adoption because it's a great option for so many people!

    • @animezae
      @animezae 4 года назад +3

      They can adopt a white baby. There are far too many obstacles that White people cannot understand in a Black person’s life, and there is no amount of research or good intent that will change that. The high percentage of White moms with mixed biological children that don’t even take the time to learn how to do their damn hair is proof of that disconnect.

    • @ej8358
      @ej8358 4 года назад +16

      tharealtrilla So you're saying that my aunt and uncle should wait years to adopt a white child while mixed race children are sitting in an orphanage? She has 2 adopted girls who are half black and she does an amazing job of taking care of their hair. My uncle is actually Filipino so amazingly enough they actually look like a biological family. But I guess they should still be in an orphanage because my aunt and uncle aren't black and white, they're Filipino and white and therefore are not fit to raise mixed race children in a loving home.

    • @Kennedy-yv8id

      yes and I think that opinion also disrespects all of the amazing white moms who adopted black children and are trying their best to give them a great life, just like any other good parents. My neighbors have multiple black children and they are so loved from what I have seen!
