Welcome to Pulveriser's Guide to Warrior tanking, this is my third installment and the tips and strategies within are updated as of patch 4.0.6. In this guide we will be going over the proper talent specialization for a Warrior Tank, useful Glyphs for that spec, important stats for your class, and how to properly tank AOE and Single Target fights.

Thank you SOO much for this guide. I've been tanking with 6 points in other talents since level 80. after hitting 85 I watched this and OMG, aoe tanking is alot easier now. The way you explain things is simple and to the point without a bunch of flashy graphics or just watching you run an instance. GJ!

Great guide! Although something that wasn't mentioned, but I think he would agree with, is tanking is a very personal thing. A lot of tactics are based on how you play. For instance, to get a mob where i want them, I will target one, usually a caster, hit heroic throw, and start back up. When the mob is where I want them, i will charge tab target, thunder clap (for initial agro) rend, shockwave, then thunderclap again. That will get you much of the agro you desire. From there just keep tabbing

Amazing job. Everything still relevant with upcoming patch. As a sidenote, since War Academy gets better for prot, you may want to suggest speecing into it over Incite.

Great guide, liked and subbed. Its sleek, professional and goes in-depth on all the important factors.
By the way, what macro(s) do you use for your most common used abilities? I see that you have a certain priority system in place, and saw that some abilities were not key bound but were spammed (not by clicking) throughout the fights.
I myself key bind everything (55+ keybinds) and I notice my hands really cannot take this anymore, so this would save me alot of strains ;)

Very nice well produced
If they are the tier tanking shoulders, they are the Earthen Shoulderguards. There are some that drop off Nef in BWD called the Pauldrons of the Apocalypse. There are also some that also drop off of Halfus Wyrmbreaker, the first boss in BoT, called Pauldrons of the Great Ettin.

Great guide, now I can hold threat more easily on multiple mobs and boss fights, I also run a worgen warrior :)
@relacley I'm not saying parry/dodge is bad. Its just that they diminish more with better gear you have. Mastery doesn't have that problem nor stamina.Stamina is also reducing overhealing since healers don't have to panic that you are going to die on the next hit.
