We first want to emphasize right tree, right space, right reason. 600 trees per acre would be at about 8.5' x 8.5' which kind of falls in the middle of the recommended plantation spacing from our resource document and in that the variation in planting spacing can depend on different factors. We have heard that aspen can be a very difficult tree to establish from seedings so it may be difficult.
