I just wanted to let you know your videos are great. I love how you explain all your moves to very high detail usually using physics. I find this interesting because I'm looking to get the game but veteran players may not like your explanations because they probably already have their own. Some commentary might make the explain better but I still love your videos.
like give some commentary that explains what you did instead of text which can make it a little harder to understand what is going on. I think commentary will provide a better explaination.
Excellent use of the gunsight for ranging and the side windows for keeping the target in sight during the intercept. Everything you did in this video was pretty much spot on how it should be done, especially the way you handled the LaGG. Bravo!
i've also found very useful to lean forward when aiming so i can lift my head higher while still seeing the crosshair. very useful especially with 190 since the engine blocks so much of your view.
How do I stop the nose of my aircraft from jumping up and down so much when firing my guns? I know this happens but, mine seems to do it so badly the targeted plane jumps completely out of the gun site. I don't see this happening in your video. Thanks.
Hey, I must have missed this comment. It helps to not rest the weight of your arm on the stick. Il2 needs a really light touch. If you have ever fired a real firearm, then you know they tell you to squeeze, not pull, the trigger.
How fast are you flying? How is your joystick set up? Do you have exponential set on the elevator? What plane are you flying? Do you use flaps in combat position?
2:50 gee...you really think guys in combat were using this calculating methodes? From all the memoirs of the fighter pilots of the ww2 I have read I realized in this blink of an eye moment they were catching oponent in a gunsight, it was all other but this method shown in this part of the video
Of course not. Nobody can keep it all in their head. But you can keep certain basic rules in your head. The rest is instinct, and you have to train your instincts properly.
Never get tired of these videos, WWII in color, and in a 1st person simulation...talk about living history and tactics.

Thanks for the compliments! Can you explain what you mean when you say "some commentary might make the explain better"?

People who do high speed deflection shooting I am always impressed by, I still struggle with determining the angle of the other aircraft

With All That Is Going On Around You (Situation Awareness).....You Still Have Time To Do Math????
Brilliant video! You really seem to know your stuff; I'll try the tips in Il2 1946 later; have a good one!
Your instructor videos are like a candy store. Do what you do. It means a lot for novice pilots like me
Great video. A thumbs up for you sir.
Thanks!

Hi, i have a question. For what need orange filter on sight?
It helps if the sun is in your eyes. Like sunglasses.
ty mate
RUclips actually recommended something good! Plus one sub!
can I ask you for a profile file TrackIR
It's available at jagdgeschwader13.com/
I can't even identify the lagg-3 in your video. It's just a mere speck, a smudge without any wings to be seen
5:30 what a shot!

Great videos and explanations. Do you ever get hungry for chewing up 4 engine bombers? Going after those mosquito sized Yaks must get monotonous.
I find maneuvering against fighters to be more of a challenge.
Nice Video, thank you for sharing!!!
Did you pause the game to do the calcs?
It's multiplayer

It's about training your instincts, not about doing trigonometry mid-dogfight. But unless you know how to score hits how can you improve?
Wow, if you're able to use real world physics in this game then it must be very realistic.
Every simulation has its flaws but it's a pretty faithful recreation of flight for a consumer sim.
Your calculations xD...
And do you really keep all this math in your brain, mate, when you got only 0.065 sec to decide where to shot or not? Really great if so!

coming from warthunder this is very nerdy tryna kill a plane lol
