I made aloo and chanay on this eid and it turned out restaurant style Alhamdullilah. Prayed for u shireen apa with every morsel I took. JazakALLAH khair
I made the halwa today. It was excellent just like the way I like it. But I feel 2 cups sugar is good if you are planning to eat with naan, otherwise 1.5 to 1.75 cups sugar should be enough. But still the recipe was great 👌

The reason it takes long for potatoes to boil if you add tomatoes is because tomatoes are acidulous and potatoes are alkaline (alkali) and they both neutralize each other.
