We want our hair Al dante When hair has too much protein it's like the dry spaghetti in the box. When we have too much moisture it is like an overcooked spaghetti noodle. That is similar to over-processed which would need protein to repair. When fine hair has too much protein it becomes brittle and breaks. Therefore it needs some moisture but not too much or it will become too heavy and weighed down.
I know there a lot of professional hairdressers & non pros that love Monat but there are lots of people how never got past the "shedding" phase & are loosing lot of hair. I have used Wen & it makes my hair fall out. I am older & my hair has gone from thick & curly to thin & frizzy straight. I can't afford to lose any more hair. Why does it work for some but not others?
Tina Ranghelli I do not sell Monat but have watched and read a lot of posts and researched on it. Honestly you have to think anyone could react or be allergic to anything I think one that is why some women are experiencing this and two are using the wrong products for their specific hair issue if any and or using the products wrong. Let’s say one experienced hair loss.... well what if she has been sleeping in the mask???? She is putting a lot of Protein in her hair which will cause it to break and fall out. That’s just my po.
A lot of the complaints I've seen have been people using the intense repair shampoo...this shampoo is their strongest, according to what I've researched. From what I've seen, it's not for just anyone but rather those experiencing baldness due to chemo or alopecia. I suspect people are ordering without first consulting their representative or their representative not being properly educated on the products. This is just my opinion and what I've noticed in doing resent research.
Kendra right!!! Some are just selling just to sell. That is what happened to me my first time buying. Then I switched to someone else that was more knowledgeable. I use the irt spray and conditioner maybe once a week.

Why is the cost so high for these products? I would love to try this product but my budget will not allow for monet prices.

Alvina, check out the Revitalize Conditioner. Leave-in is GREAT for hydration though. Maybe try just using one pump
