A must-have, IMO. I grew up with the silver age and this is some of my favorite material. The Wally Wood issues are f'ing classics, and it's infuriating to see how Stan crapped on his contribution to the series. Gene Colan really left his mark on Daredevil during this period. I especially like the issues inked by Syd Shores.

It would’ve been great to see Wally Wood get more time on the character on his own. But, alas… it did pave the way for Gene Colan’s incredible run.
I read some of these early issues in the Epic Collection format. I enjoyed them! Daredevil is such a great character, one of the few that I actually kind of prefer in his alter ego, as Matt Murdock.
The Alex Ross cover is awesome but I’m not sure how I feel about it for a comic like this, it’s the exact same with the Lee & Ditko Doctor Strange Omnibus! Prefer the dust jacket art to be reflective of the art inside.

And yes… I always prefer the classic cover. Or a dust jacket cover that matches the art on the inside. Unfortunately that one wasn’t easy to find for this one, so I had to settle.
