    I really enjoyed it! I hated the one at the Barbican years ago, stayed away from it, but was glad i gave this one a shot. The sets and staging was amazing.

    I disagree. I thought the female parts were done very well, I thought it had a strong cast.

    I thought it was pretty dreadful. I had no idea what was going on. I can't believe they are showing it in this edit. Needs a complete overhaul to make it easier to understand. Othello was amazing, this is a mess!
    It is visually stunning in certain scenes, but I think that's where all the money went, on the set!

      i didn't have a hard time following it, but i studied latin in high school and watch a lot of shakespeare, maybe that's why. I thought I had read the plot in advance but obviously not because I was shocked by the twists. I thought Othello was fine (i greatly preferred the riverside studios othello), but i really like this one. David O is just that good. I'm going to see it again
