- For most of my life, my father was a rough and angry man-the son of Sicilian immigrants. He fought hard to find his way and place in this world. His own father died when he was a young boy and life became a struggle to survive. He succeeded brilliantly and became a successful home builder-yet the wounds of childhood ate away at him. He turned to alcohol to starve his pain.
For years I reached out, hoping things could be different, hoping that my children would draw my father back to us and open his heart to healing. More than two decades passed...then in a moment, everything shifted.
You can read the entire story in my book Girls With Swords: store.messenge...

I wish this for my Dad! ❤
Five days from when God told Lisa that she was saying goodbye to her Dad she receives the call.
Five Months after her Father's death she heard from the caretaker.
Five years that caretaker took care of her Dad.
Not sure why this stood out to me but it did. I know the Lord doesn't do anything by accident. He's very intentional.
relate this much as Ive tthrough a lot with my father..please help me pray
Such a powerful testimony! Thank you, Lisa, for sharing.🙏❤❤❤
God loves them more. God wants them saved too, even more than we do.💞
🙏💗🙌 so touching 🤗
Sounds like she wasn’t too close to her dad. Very sad story, but has redemption. Why didn’t they do a funeral for him? Don’t understand. Very, very odd and impersonal.
