Want to thank you for this review. Had pretty much settled in the Vortex when I found your review. The closer. Bought it 6 weeks ago. Like it was made for me. Love the light feel.
This is a seriously well produced review, great job on this! Really appreciate the obvious effort you put into making this, definitely deserves more views
I have this bike have had it for over two years and I ride just like the video it’s very durable and have not changed a thing on the bike well worth the price I love it
Can someone tell me if the battery has to be a certain percent before turning on because mines has either or short or something wrong. If I move the wire near the controller it may cut in but then jumps off,
Yeah that sounds like a battery problem. Honestly not 100% what it would be, but cutting and jumping are not good words to use with electricity lol If you can charge it for an extended period of time, that may help balance the cells, but maybe the battery is accidentally in the "off" position. I forget if there's a switch on the side here, but something to investigate as well. Best of luck!
I'm thinking of buying a used version of this bike because a friend is suddenly moving back to her home country of South Africa. Since she said the battery's been diminishing over the past two years she's had the bike, can you / anyone tell me where one could get a replacement of the battery ITSELF, and how much that would cost? Have to decide about the bike in next day only!
It pops up on the Vortex page under the “customers also bought” section. I’d double check with them to confirm, but it says it’s for the vortex. It’s also a fairly common battery, so there might be more options out there as well.
Since we don't have a digital lcd display, I don't think there's an easy one. You can always look to replace the controller to get more speed and perhaps some other options. I don't know if I' personally invest all of that time and effort into this platform, but if you've got the knowledge, a controller and a new display wouldn't be too expensive.
Yeah I have this bike u just need to take the cover of the controller off and there's a red wire I believe that u just need to unplug! No cutting necessary
Hey Scott! I think the bike should easily hit its top speed if we're going to be riding it around on mainly pavement. It has faster rolling tires as well, so it's best suited for the city.

Hey there! So this is the battery pack that is listed on the Ecotric website - www.ecotric.com/products/battery-for-rocket?variant=39434270474338

Is there a way to remove the speed limiter for this bike?
